WEBINAR ON COMPREHENSIVE CLEFT CARE – COGNIZING THE CONCEPTS
-REPORT
- A Webinar was organized by Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Chhattisgarh
Dental College and Research Institute, Rajnandgaon, on 7th
January 2021.
- The session started around 10:30am on Zoom online platform and YouTube live steaming
was also done.
-The Master of Ceremony was Dr Surabhi Singhai who greeted all the attendees which was
followed by Saraswati vandana.
- Dr. Pramod Krishna B., Professor and Head of the Organizing department then gave the
welcome speech.
- This was followed by the Dean’s address which was given by respected Dr. Hema
Suryawanshi madam.
- Dr Surabhi Singhai then introduced the speaker- Dr Manu Prasad S.
- Dr. Manu Prasad S. then gave the first lecture on “Understanding cleft lip and palate
deformity, philosophies of management.”
- The second lecture on “Multidisciplinary approach in the management of cleft deformities”
was given by the other members of cleft team of St. Joseph Hospital, Mysore.
- This was followed by the third lecture on “Craniofacial cleft management” which was given
by Dr Manu Prasad S.
- The queries that were received online were addressed by the speaker Dr Manu Prasad S.
after the commencement of the lectures.
-Zoom online platform was used by the Staff and PG Students of this college and delegates
from other colleges where as live YouTube streaming was done for the UG students of this
college and students from other colleges for attending the webinar.
- The session ended with vote of thanks which was proposed by Dr Rajdeep Singh and
national anthem.
- Participants who filled the online feedback form were given e-certificates of participation.
