Week of Oct. 2nd-Oct. 6th

Classroom Highlights:

Reading and Writing: We are focusing on how different parts of a story makes you feel and why/how the author did it. We finished our first narrative writing pieces and are working on drawing our pictures. We look forward to reading them to our families soon!

Math: We finished our topic 1 unit this week. We will continue working on one and two step addition/subtraction word problems.

Science: We discussed what plants need to stay healthy and how flowers get pollinated. We also planted radish seeds and conducted an experiment which took away sunlight. Ask us what we observed!

Character Education: Our week of respect has come to an end, but we will continue practicing respectful behaviors all year long! We also discussed the importance of inclusion and how we can make sure to include all our friends at school.
