The event day truly was rainy off and on, but the 19 participants that attended were all heart. The shirt logos back and front of ASAP also took on special meeting.  Red symbolic of Dr. Bett’s red umbrella, and the Tough Blue Jay with Mr. Morris’ hat, as ever, the symbol of the determination and strength that Mr. Morris brought to the program that started this initiative.  In addition, the logo from the front shirts were carried over into the medals.  Trophies were created from wood that replicated as close as possible the hat Mr. Morris wore.  In addition, the umbrellas that represent Dr. Betts are being constructed and will be dealt out this summer.

Ms. Marlene Mervine was a large contributor to the publicity, as well as the ongoing publicity of what the Chapel Branch areas stood for, and continue to be a mainstay of preserving Wetland areas in the County.
