Abstract:

 Satellite communications play a vital role in the global telecommunications system. Approximately 2,000 artificial satellites orbiting Earth relay analog and digital signals carrying voice, video, and data to and from one or many locations worldwide. Satellites applications can be divided into many basic types:Navigation and Global Positioning

In a group of 5 students, you are supposed to work through research to provide a report and perform a group presentation. The mark distribution will depend on the completion of the work.

Writing a report:

The report should include, but not limited to:

Introduction 1 Definition of the application 1 Technical issues 1 Examples 0.5 Conclusion 1 The reference Style APAwill be at the end. 0.5

Document your work in a report with the following format:

The paper must have cover page with the names of the group members and sections.

The font needs to be Times New Roman with size 14. Table of content should be in the beginning.

Making a presentation:

Make a simple presentation including the following:

The project title. The team members and the role of each member (maximum 5 members

for each group). Summary for the project Prepare yourself for the discussion by making a power point file which

has been discussed in the tutorial and come with your group to discuss you project.
