The simplest route from most directions is via the M58 motorway. If arriving via M6, take Junction 26 for the M58 to Skelmersdale. Exit M58 at Junction 5 for Pimbo, then go around the first roundabout following signs to Upholland (A577). Turn right at next roundabout following signs for Upholland (A577) and Beacon Country Park. Follow the main road right at the first mini-roundabout, and left at the second one. Continue up the hill through the third mini-roundabout and then turn left into Mill Lane at the 4th mini-roundabout by The Victoria pub. Pass the Carr Lane car park on the left about 1 mile up Mill Lane. The entrance to the Golf Course car park is the next turning on the left.
