How to Create your own Lists from the Catalogue 1. Click on the Search Everything link located in the Library Info box. Search Everything is the Facetted/Fuzzy Logic searching option. You will find All LDCSB’s items with this search option and then you can narrow by Author, Format, Language, Pub Date, Subject, Material Type, and school Library. You are able to narrow by several of these until you come up with a list of items that suits your needs. You can then email this list to yourself.

2. When users log in to My Account, Permanent Lists appears on the dark grey tool bar. When they click on it and they have yet to create any lists, the window below will appear.

In the New List box, the user can type in the Title they wish to label their list

They will then have to Make List Active

They then have to Go Back and do a search

Check the My List box beside the titles to include then click back on Permanent Lists

….and this window comes up. They can now email the list or Rename, Remove, Add or Activate lists. Once users have created and saved at least one list, they only need to log in; click Permanent Lists and this window will come up. They now select the list they want to work with or create others. 3. Another way to create a list from the catalogue:Note the Kept tab on dark grey tool bar. It shows up on the Search Results page once the user has completed a search; from Search Results page the user can create a list of potential titles using the following instructions:

This is the list created and the user now has the option to either print it or email it. Unlike the Permanent List, this list of titles is not stored within the catalogue.

If emailing, type in the address of the intended recipient then click on the Email button

At this screen, click OK to return to Search Results page
