They may choose to read their A.R. book, homework activities, or any other reading material they are interested in. Research shows students who read 20 minutes per day increase their fluency and comprehension skills. HOMEWORK Student Choice: Reading Log can be completed in the morning during STAR time, or in the afternoon for homework. Students will need to read for 20 minutes at home every day.
