our spirit, He will change your life (Eph. 2:5; Rom. 12:1–2;
1 Cor. 15:52–53).

2. Our spirits are created in the image of God to relate to God (John 4:23–24; Job 32:8).
3. The soul is not specifically defined, but it relates to the person.
“In spirit and in truth (ἐν πνεύματι καὶ ἀληθείᾳ). Spirit (πνεῦμα) is the highest, deepest, noblest part of our humanity, the point of contact between God and man (Rom. 1:9); while soul (ψυχή) is the principle of individuality, the seat of personal impressions, having a side in contact with the material element of humanity as well as with the spiritual element, and being thus the mediating element between the spirit and the body.”1

4. The body relates to the world through the five senses and in other ways.
5. When one aspect of our lives is affected, every aspect is impacted.
