Spheres of Life

This spread does not have a set pattern or layout. It is a good spread to use when you don’t have a specific question in mind. just follow the steps.

Step 1: Shuffle the cards

Step 2: Fan the cards out as wide as possible.

Step 3: Choose three cards while saying what area of life they want to ask about such as “career”, “relationship”, or “travel”.

Step 4: Lay those cards face down on the table taking either mental or physical note about what aspect those cards relate to.

Step 5: Repeat steps three and four until you have no more aspects you want to ask about.

Step 6: End by pulling three more cards, these are the surprises you didn’t think to ask about.

Read the cards as you would for normal spread. You will find that sometimes the cards indicate separate events or influences in that area of life, whereas other times they need to be read together regarding a single event. Let your intuition guide you.

Your Birth and Year CardThese are all done with the numbers relating to the Major Arcana

To calculate your birth can add the month and date of birth to the year of your birth. For example August 20, 1989 would be 8+20+1989=2017 since this is more than 22 you would then add 2+0+1+7=10. So the birth or soul card would be The Wheel of Fortune or if you wanted to us only single digits the card would be the Magician.

For a quick glance at the year ahead you can do a similar math formula for your year card. In this case you would use the year of your last birthday instead of your year of birth. So 8-20-2015 instead of 8-20-1989. 8+20-2015=2043 2+0+4+3=9 so my year card would be The Hermit.
