make a decision, let’s take a look behind the numbers.

Where do these numbers come from?

This number represents how students in other schools that are similar to Collins in size, location, and demographics feel about their school. Collins students rated Collins 11 points higher than students from other schools ranked their schools.

This number represents how students, on average, from all other CPS schools viewed safety in and around their school. Please note, again, that students at The Collins Academy High School rated Collins 2 points higher than the students at other CPS schools did.

SafetyStudents feel safe both in and around the school building, and while they travel to and from home.

Between the years of 2016-2017, we tripled the score of safety at The Collins Academy High School.

When looking at these graphs, one can easily see that our students feel safe in the building and in their classrooms. We monitor and support our students in order for them to have a positive experience in learning.
