Job Description

Job Title: Service Administrator

Location: Office based – 36 Park Street, Lincoln. LN1 1UQ

Hours of work: 35 hours a week

Responsible to: Administration Manager

Job Purpose:

Responsible for supporting and assisting in the efficient running of Age UK Lincoln & Kesteven’s Support Services Department at an administration and customer service level.

Main Tasks:

Be the first point of contact for the department. Receive and respond efficiently and appropriately to referrals when passed to the department.

Maintaining accurate administrative systems, ensuring all computerised and manual records are up to date.

Ensure accurate and timely data inputting on the department’s internal database system. Create and maintain service user’s files. Communicate with service users and staff members as and when required to obtain

feedback and ensure consultation. Timely communication with service users and staff members to ensure responsive and

effective service delivery. Support the admin team to coordinate staff holidays and ensure cover for all service users,

as and when required. To prepare and produce documentation for service users/service user visits as and when

required. Ensuring Age UK Lincoln & Kesteven’s Adult Safeguarding / protection requirements and

procedures are adhered to and considered in day to day practice. To actively assist / promote Age UK Lincoln & Kesteven in the growth and development of

the service, and organisation as a whole. To liaise with other agencies involved with the service user to ensure provision of

integrated services and positive partnership working. Work in compliance with Age UK Lincoln & Kesteven’s Information Governance standards. To ensure all Data Protection guidelines are adhered to at all times. Adhere to all internal policies and procedures. To support the department with marketing/promotional events as and when required. Carry out all other duties as deemed reasonably appropriate by your Line Manager.

Probationary PeriodThis post is subject to a six month probationary period.
