Cross Country Skiing During January many Parkview students in grades 4-6 enjoyed two days of cross country skiing at Larch Hills and will participate in the annual Loppet on February 1st. Snowball Family Dance Our annual Snowball Dance was very well attended and a great time was had by all! January Recap...

Cross Country Skiing During January many Parkview students in grades 4-6 enjoyed two days of cross country skiing at Larch Hills and will participate in the annual Loppet on February 1st. Many thanks to Mr. Hagel and Ms. Watters for organizing this activity, and to the staff and parents who helped supervise.

Snowball Family DanceOur annual Snowball Dance was very well attended and a great time was had by all! Many thanks to our hard working PAC. for organizing this event and to Bob and Kim for the music.

One of the activities around Family Literacy Week included DEAR (Drop Everything and Read)

Maker DayOver 100 students and parents joined us for our Family Maker Night and were entertained by Uncle Chris the Clown.

Hat DayWe enjoyed some very creative hats at Parkview on January 22nd.

PAC News Our next PAC meeting will be held on Monday, February 11 @ 2:30 p.m. Everyone is most welcome to attend.

100’s Day

Kindergarten and all primary students will celebrate 100 days of school on February 13 & 14th.

Pro D DayFebruary 15 – students do not attend school on this day.

Family DayStudents do not attend school on Family Day, February 18.

Pink Shirt DayFebruary 27 is pink shirt day. Our leadership students are busy planning events for this day.

Report CardsReport Cards will be sent home Thursday, February 28

ClubsMath club, led by Mrs. Milton, continues to be a popular lunch time activity. We also have primary reading club hosted by Mrs. Danyluk, grade 3/4 drawing club hosted by Mrs. Kroeker and a grade 4-6 mindfulness club with Miss Watters. The grade 5/6 students also enjoy open gym and dodgeball with Mr. Dan and Mrs. Schneider. Parkview is a busy place!

School Fees A reminder to parents – if you have not paid school fees, we would appreciate receiving them as soon as possible. The following fees are requested: Activity Fee – All grades $20.00 (Covers most activities during the year.) Agenda Books – Grade 1 – 7 $ 10.00 (Used for daily communication between school and home.)Primary Fees – Students in grades K-3 pay a fee of $30.00. This covers school supplies for the school year.
