The Gathering into the Everlasting Covenant of Rest, Part I

9/25/2014—6:00 PM CDT

It is now the Feast of Trumpets and we are entering a Sabbatical year, or (Shmita). I will be showing you from Scripture how I know this is a Sabbatical year and the implications of this. So let’s begin our study in the Shmita chapter of the Bible…

Leviticus 25 (Shmita)—Basis for all time prophecies, leading right up to our generation…

25:1 And YahuWaH (the LORD) spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,

25:2 Speak unto the children of Isra-El, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto YaHuWaH (the LORD).

25:3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;

25:4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for YaHuWaH (the LORD): thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

25:5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: [for] it is a year of rest unto the land.

25:6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,

25:7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that [are] in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

25:8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

25:9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth [day] of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout [all] the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

Page 2: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

25:11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather [the grapes] in it of thy vine undressed.

25:12 For it [is] the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

We will also be looking at Leviticus 26, and to do so we must look at some background information…Leviticus 26 goes hand-in-hand with Leviticus 25. Too often I’ve seen one chapter considered and not the other. Leviticus 25, if followed, would have been a blessing, as it mitigated oppression, allowed the land to rest so that it could produce more, and given families more time to spend together and with the Almighty. This seven year cycle, and seven of those cycles, would later become the focus of prophetic time, and we will be seeing why and how. This numeric hallmark is an emblem of Sabbath rest—the real issue that YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. What happened is that Isra-El entered into the land of rest but did not enter into that rest spiritually, after all the thunderings of Sinai. The problem is that they were living under the old covenant. Let us compare the old covenant with the new covenant, and discover what this spiritual rest is…

Exodus19:1 In the third month (Pentecost), when the children of Isra-El were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they [into] the wilderness of Sinai.

19:2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come [to] the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra-El camped before the mount.

19:3 And Moses went up unto the Almighty (God), and YaHuWaH (the LORD) called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Isra-El;

19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and [how] I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth [is] mine:

19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These [are] the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Isra-El.

19:7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which YaHuWaH (the LORD) commanded him.

19:8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that YaHuWaH (the LORD) hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto YaHuWaH (the LORD).

Question: What is YaHuWaH’s covenant? It is all the words that He gave to Isra-El by Moses. It is the Torah, which the Ten Commandments summarize. But there is only one problem. The people of Isra-El said, “All that YaHuWaH (the LORD) hath spoken we will do.” The reality is, they accepted to keep all the Commandments of YaHuWaH

Page 3: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

except for one. Do you know which one it is? Before we look at it, let’s examine what the prophet Jeremiah’s statement regarding the New and Everlasting Covenant…

Jeremiah31:33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Isra-El; After those days, saith YaHuWaH (the LORD), I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohiym (God), and they shall be My people.

31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know YaHuWaH (the LORD): for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith YaHuWaH (the LORD): for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Friends, this prophecy is yet to be fulfilled, and it will be by the 144,000. This text is quoted twice by the Apostle Paul in the book of Hebrews, a very important book that is especially written for our final generation to understand. We find it in Chapters 8 and 10; and Chapters 8 to 10 explain the ministry of our Saviour in the Heavenly Sanctuary. The writing of the Law in the faithful saints at the end of time is the entire purpose of the plan of salvation. These set-apart people will testify that YaHuWaH is perfect and just in all His ways by their holy lives. And Christ’s ministry in the Heavenly Sanctuary, which is very literal as will be explained at Tabernacles, will not cease until this is fulfilled. This is what we are all waiting for—the reason why Yahushua, Anointed One, has not returned yet. But it is in meetings like these that will help to bring these things to fruition. We are here gathered together to receive the Latter Rain of the everlasting gospel. We must receive an outpouring of this Message before we can proclaim it to the world. Sin must cease, and then the Anointed One’s sacrificial offering in heaven can cease. The mission will then be accomplished.

Now let’s flip back to Hebrews 4, and discover the spiritual rest that we are to enter into…Let’s read the entire chapter…

4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left [us] of entering into His rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].

4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into My rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh [day] on this wise, And the Almighty did rest the seventh day from all his works.

4:5 And in this [place] again, If they shall enter into My rest.

4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

Page 4: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

4:8 For if Yahushua (Joshua—margin) had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of the Almighty.

Yahushua here spoken of is who we call ‘Joshua’ (as the margin indicates) who led the children of Isra-El into the Promised Land, a type of the Promised Land for all the redeemed. It was supposed to be the land of rest, but due to the people choosing the old covenant, which is unbelief, they did not enter into it. Instead, as we will see, their land became a place of war and desolation where other kingdoms would rule, down through prophetic time.

Watch what our prophet says: “Another than Joshua must guide His people to the true rest of faith” (Thoughs from the Mount of Blessing, p. 1). It is interesting that the mortal Yahushua and Yahushua, the Anointed One (Christ) have the same name. I believe this was out of divine providence. The former was a type of the Latter Who will “guide His people to the true rest of faith”. You see, we enter into heaven, the place of rest, on this side of eternity. We must first enter into it spiritually; the 144,000 will do so. Then all the redeemed will be brought to the physical heaven together since all who died in the earlier generations would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the light that we are attaining now at gatherings such as these. M.L. Andraeson, a champion of the faith once delivered to the saints, called the Fourth Commandment “the Command of Faith”. So, what is this “rest of faith”? Let’s continue reading the rest of Hebrews 4 and then unlock it…

4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of the Almighty.

4:10 For he that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as the Almighty [did] from His.

4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

4:12 For the Word of the Almighty [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things [are] naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

4:14 Seeing then that we have a Great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Yahushua the Son of the Almighty, let us hold fast [our] profession.

4:15 For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.

Page 5: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Oh, friends, this is the everlasting covenant, which can also be called “everlasting rest” as recorded in another ancient inspired writing; and the everlasting gospel, which will enlighten the whole earth with its glory, is the proclamation of it. It is resting from our own works—whether it be our works of worldly sin, or the works of trying to keep the Law by our own efforts. Either way it is our own works that we must come out of. In fact, each time we sin, we are under the spirit of Babylon; therefore, we all have a coming out to do. The Loud Cry is just as much to the Seventh-day Laodicean as the worldlian. And we must come out first, so that we can give this Cry with great power—having both the doctrine and its reality in our lives to proclaim it.

What did the children of Isra-El say under the old covenant? “All that YaHuWaH (the LORD) hath spoken we will do.” But what did YaHuWaH say? “Saith YaHuWaH (the LORD), I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohiym (God), and they shall be My people.” Do you see the difference?

In the new covenant of everlasting rest that we are to enter into, through a quick process in these last days by the full strength of the doctrine being poured out, we have the faith of Yahushua. This is none other than the rest of faith, or what I like to call ‘Sabbath faith’, the command that the children of Isra-El neglected. Why? Because they did not want to rest from their coveted ways of sin! And our unregenerate hearts today are the same way. But when we put on the faith of our Saviour we have victory over this, that we may keep all the Commandments of the Almighty, thus fulfilling the Third Angel’s Message under its Loud Cry. As Laodicea we are lacking the faith of Yahushua. Just what is this faith?

The faith of our Saviour is the faith that He saves us from all of our sins. It is His faith because He lived it. He provided the necessary Sacrifice, and this is what we must take hold of as we come boldly to the throne of grace. And at Tabernacles we will learn that His Sacrifice is much, much greater than we ever realized. And as we learn it, this will all the more increase this rest of faith. But we must apply it to our lives. We are to daily claim the merits of Yahushua—His righteousness and Sacrifice in our place. At Calvary He finalized the death that should have been ours, and in heaven He very literally applies His merits to our cases as we confess our sins. Not only are we to claim His merits, but we are to claim His promises. In fact, since He is the Word, His life—full of His merits—is in every promise that we claim. And there are promises perfectly calculated to destroy every specific sin. And this is how we overcome sin. It is by the blood of the Lamb, which virtues flow through every promise claimed by His faith. So, if you are not daily claiming promises by the merits and blood of the Lamb, please start today. Just ask, believe, and receive, and the Word will do what it says—it cannot fail, because it is the very life of the Anointed One through His Spirit—Yea, that two-edged sword which Paul also calls “the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God” (Ephesians 6:17). And at Tabernacles we will learn how the Spirit and Word are the same power.

Page 6: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

The old covenant way is to try to quit sinning and finding it impossible, and we usually have private pet sins that we cling to that we think will be balanced by all the good we try to do. But God never made this covenant with Isra-El. The old covenant was their own covenant. They tried to keep the conditions without the faith—without the Fourth Commandment, that is. And they utterly failed to enter into it, which the Sabbath Day, and the Shmita (a day-for-a-year extension) is the sign of. Remember: “Sabbath means rest”; our pioneers taught this as well. The days or years attached to it only commemorate the rest; they don’t replace it. Rest goes beyond time, for it will be eternal.

Let’s take a break and then we will track the progress of Isra-El in light of Leviticus 26, which we will see to be the consequence for not entering into the Sabbath rest (which the Shmita of Leviticus 25 is a sign of)…

The Gathering into the Everlasting Covenant of Rest, Part II

Leviticus 26 sets the stage for the rest of the Bible and this earth’s history. Together with Chapter 25, it is the foundation of all prophecy, and yet Seventh-day Adventists have forgotten it, even though it was preached to a certain extent by our first pioneer William Millers and other early pioneers. There is controversy over it when there need not be. The truth is plain and it is not worth a debate over, but there has been in recent times. One side believes it, but often in fanaticism; and the fanaticism gives the nay-sayers a bad impression. But let’s take a look at what the Bible says, reading the entire chapter…Lev.26:1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up [any] image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD) your Elohiym (God).

26:2 Ye shall keep My Sabbaths, and reverence My Sanctuary: I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD). (Please take note of this very interesting combo. This is the domino that sets all the others off.)

26:3 If (the BIG conditional ‘if’) ye walk in My Statutes, and keep My Commandments, and do them;

26:4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. (Notice the condition of the land in connection with the previous chapter dealing with Sabbath land rests.)

Page 7: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

26:5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

26:6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make [you] afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. (Notice: No war, just rest.)

26:7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

26:8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

26:9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish My covenant with you. (Whoa!)

26:10 And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.

26:11 And I will set My tabernacle among you: and My soul shall not abhor you.

26:12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be My people. (Sounds like new covenant language.)

26:13 I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD) your Elohiym (God), which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

But the whole tone changes after this. The previous big if was if they entered into Sabbath rest and kept the Commandments of the Almighty instead of entering into idolatry. Notice the words of Ellen White: “The observance of the Sabbath would have preserved the world from idolatry” (Christian Experience and Teachings, p. 86). Also: “If men keep the Fourth Commandment, they will keep all the rest” (Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, p. 134). Amazing! There must be more to keeping the Sabbath than merely keeping a weekly Day. And she says so herself. Listen: “And at the commencement of the time of trouble, we were filled with the Holy Ghost as we went forth and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully. This enraged the church, and nominal Adventists, as they could not refute the Sabbath truth” (Early Writings, p. 34). This quote will become very important to us as we continue to progress through these studies.

The sad reality is that the people of Isra-El did not enter into YaHuWaH’s rest; therefore, their land did not enter into rest. There would be war, desolation, and take-over by other kingdoms. We will track this down a bit to see how this took place, but first let us continue reading on with the rest of Leviticus 26…

26:14 But (Here’s the other if…) if ye will not hearken unto Me, and will not do all these Commandments;

Page 8: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

26:15 And if ye shall despise My Statutes, or if your soul abhor My judgments, so that ye will not do all My commandments, [but] that ye break My covenant:

(Here comes the ‘then’…) 26:16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

26:17 And I will set My face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

26:18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

26:19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: (Does iron and brass ring a bell? How about Nebachadnezzar’s statue? How about Rome and its forerunner Greece?

26:20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. (See the chiasm here, of the land?)

26:21 And if ye walk contrary unto Me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

26:22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your [high] ways shall be desolate.

26:23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

26:24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

26:25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of [My] covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

26:26 [And] when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver [you] your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

26:27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto Me, but walk contrary unto Me;

26:28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

26:29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

Page 9: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

26:30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and My soul shall abhor you.

26:31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.

26:32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.

26:33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

Now let’s pause here… What do you think the seven times is in light of what we know about the previous chapter? Any ideas? How about seven years? All this devastation happening in seven years??? No… it must be seven prophetic years.

And guess what? It is the previous chapter that coins the day-for-a-year reckoning of prophetic time. Each day of the weekly cycle was given a year to make a seven-year land cycle. And so the seven in this chapter must be multiplied by 360 again, since seven years would be too short for this prophecy; and this gives us a timeframe for the scattering of the children of Isra-El among the heathen. Ellen White and our pioneers called it ‘the scattering time’. And if you multiply seven by 360 you get 2,520 years. That number may ring a bell if you have at all heard of the controversy regarding this number.

Our leaders, including Ellen White’s own husband, told us that this seven is that of a magnitude and not time. But does this align with Scripture? And why would Ellen White remain so silent about this prophecy instead of rebuking it when it has been so widely proclaimed before? Was this prophecy left for our time to figure out when it would be more meaningful to us? I think so.

The number seven, in Hebrew, is ‘sheba’; and the word ‘times’ is supplied and therefore not in the original Hebrew. So all we’re left with is the number seven, which could mean anything if we didn’t have other clues. The main clue we have is that the whole of the previous chapter speaks about the seven-year cycle of land rests. It is amazing how our leaders (who are quite godly and standard-bearers as far as I can tell) are so blinded to this. There are other clues in the number ‘sheba’ itself. One is that it means that an oath is involved. And in this case, the oath was that if the children of Isra-El obeyed the Almighty, He would bless their land and give them rest. But if they would not enter into this spiritual rest, the oath was that they would be scattered away from their land along with a whole list of other devastating events. Also, the word ‘sheba’ is not ‘shib‛athayim’—which is the Hebrew word used for ‘sevenfold’ in the Scriptures.

But there are also other clues that we will see as well when we see where it fits in prophetic time. We will see how it fits in perfectly with all the other time prophecies—the most obvious being that there are actually two back-to-back 1260s: one that is mentioned by name to declare the Papacy, but the other being the Pagan supremacy that precedes it. Thus, we will see how it brings out the two desolating powers that would devastate Isra-El—both for the same time period. The two three-and-a-half

Page 10: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

prophetic years (or 1260 literal years) add up to seven prophetic years (or 2520 literal years). And all this is followed by what Ellen White and our pioneers called ‘the gathering time’. It was well-known what these were in some years following 1844, but somehow the knowledge was mysteriously lost after that. And we will solve this intriguing mystery together. We will see a fascinating chiasm take place. The scattering was the curse for breaking the everlasting covenant, which is rest, and the gathering following this is the gathering into the everlasting covenant.

Ultimately, the 144,000 from the spiritual twelve tribes of Isra-El will be sealed into the everlasting covenant. It will be delivered to them after the special resurrection of those who died in the faith of the Three Angels’ Messages, and all who lived in this faith according to the light that they had, will stand on earth together. I’ll let our prophet tell the rest of it—and keep in mind that this is the very next paragraph in Early Writings where she talked about the Sabbath being proclaimed more fully…

“The sun came up, and the moon stood still. The streams ceased to flow. Dark, heavy clouds came up and clashed against each other. But there was one clear place of settled glory, whence came the voice of the Almighty (God) like many waters, which shook the heavens and the earth. The sky opened and shut and was in commotion. The mountains shook like a reed in the wind, and cast out ragged rocks all around. The sea boiled like a pot and cast out stones upon the land. And as The Almighty (God) spoke the day and the hour of Jesus' coming and delivered the everlasting covenant to His people, He spoke one sentence, and then paused, while the words were rolling through the earth. The Isra-El of the Almighty stood with their eyes fixed upward, listening to the words as they came from the mouth of JeHoVaH, and rolled through the earth like peals of loudest thunder. It was awfully solemn. And at the end of every sentence the saints shouted, ‘Glory! Alleluia!’ Their countenances were lighted up with the glory of the Almighty (God); and they shone with the glory, as did the face of Moses when he came down from Sinai. The wicked could not look on them for the glory. And when the never-ending blessing was pronounced on those who had honored the Almighty (God) in keeping His Sabbath holy, there was a mighty shout of victory over the beast and over his image. Then commenced the jubilee, when the land should rest.” (WOW!)

Isra-El will prevail. My brothers and sisters, I tell you this solemnly—the everlasting covenant will be delivered to Isra-El in this generation. “You will see your Lord a-coming in a few more days.” This day and hour will be on the Tabernacles..… but..… We don’t know the year. But by the end of these Trumpets meetings, you will know that we are indeed that generation and that we are now entering the seventh year of it, or Shmita. I’ll give you a clue on how I know this and we will study it more in depth in a later meeting. In Ezekiel 39, the ‘seven years’ are mentioned that we have studied here in Leviticus 26. But then there is a ‘seven months’ that follows it in that chapter. William Miller erroneously placed this seven months of prophetic time, or 210 literal years (7 x 30 days in a month)—he placed it within the 2520, making it the last segment. He had no other way to comprehend it, because he expected the Messiah to return in 1843 or 1844. So he ran it from the year 1588 to 1798. You can verify it and look it up in his writings. But the context that Prophet Ezekiel provides clearly places it after the seven years. Therefore, seven months of prophetic time, or 210 years, following 1798 brings us to the year 2008 when the stock market crashed, and seven years after the Sabbatical year associated with 9/11. And thus commenced the time of trouble, or the final generation, which will climax with the seven last

plagues classified as Jacob’s time of trouble; with the seventh plague being when all Isra-El who were raised up into the Three Angels’ Messages will stand on earth together, victorious over Babylon!!! But we will cover these things more in depth in a later meeting. And what major world event or events happen at the end of this Sabbatical year, or Shmita, only the Almighty knows.

Now let’s read the closing part of Leviticus 26; and as we read it together, I want you to be aware that two other time prophecies are intertwined in the 2520—one being an early segment of the 2520, and the other being the Sabbatical millennium. After we read it I’ll let you know what one. And I also want you to take note that the Sabbatical land-rests introduced in Leviticus 25 are brought out again, thus sandwiching the sheba and its seven prophetic years right in between!...

Reading Verse 33 again:26:33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

26:34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye [be] in your enemies' land; [even] then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.

26:35 As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.

26:36 And upon them that are left [alive] of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

26:37 And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

26:38 And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

26:39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

Now watch this my friends. The tone changes back again to blessing. Oh dear brothers and sisters, it is the blessing pronounced upon this very generation which is being proclaimed to you this Trumpets—even the blessing of the everlasting covenant. For we are the chosen ones to enter into its rest. Will you and I keep the conditions for it?...

26:40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

26:41 And [that] I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: (that is, if we accept our punishment of the sheba and come out of its curse of sin)

Page 12: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

26:42 Then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. (Even the everlasting Promised Land)

26:43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised My judgments, and because their soul abhorred My statutes. (There is much in the Torah that we need to come to understand my friends.)

26:44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break My covenant with them: for I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD) their Elohiym (God).

26:45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD).

26:46 These [are] the statutes and judgments and laws, which YaHuWaH (the LORD) made between Him and the children of Isra-El in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

And so we are to be the covenant-keeping generation—the covenant that was never fully entered into by our ancestors, and even our Seventh-day Adventist pioneers. There are statutes that we have not been keeping, and there is more to the faith of Yahushua that we have yet to realize; and most of this is right under the Fourth Commandment that we profess to keep. Behold the words of our prophet: “I saw that we sensed and realized but little of the importance of the Sabbath, to what we yet should realize and know of its importance and glory. I saw we knew not what it was yet to ride upon the high places of the earth and to be fed with the heritage of Jacob. But when the refreshing and latter rain shall come from the presence of YaHuWaH (the Lord) and the glory of His power we shall know what it is to be fed with the heritage of Jacob and ride upon the high places of the earth. Then shall we see the Sabbath more in its importance and glory” (Letter 3, 1851). And that is the purpose of these meetings my friends.

The prophet Isaiah proclaimed, “This [is] the rest [wherewith] ye may cause the weary to rest; and this [is] the refreshing: yet they (our ancestors of previous generations) would not hear” (Isaiah 28:12). The apostle Paul wrote of our very generation: “And these all (our spiritual ancestors) having obtained a good report through faith (according to the light that they had), received not the promise (the full light of the everlasting gospel and its covenant): the Almighty (God) having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect” (Hebrews 11:39, 40). The Psalmist wrote of us: “Who shall ascend into the hill of YaHuWaH (the LORD)? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from YaHuWaH (the LORD) (even the blessing of the everlasting covenant), and righteousness from the Elohiym (God) of his salvation. This [is] the generation of them that seek Him” (Psalm 24:3-6). The apostle Peter wrote of us, “But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light: Which in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of

the Almighty (God): which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy” (1 Peter 2:9, 10). Friends, these are the signs of the times! The world events doth show it as well, but it is the everlasting gospel preached and lived in its fullness is what we need our eyes on, not the conspiracies and world events of Satan. It is time to refocus and be that special generation that YaHuWaH the Almighty created us to be by the faith of Yahushua, His merits, His blood!

In closing, what happened to ancient Isra-El that caused them to not receive the blessing and obtain the mercy of the everlasting covenant? Here it is… The children of Isra-El said to the prophet Samu-el, “Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations … and YaHuWaH (the LORD) said to Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them” (1 Samuel 8:5, 7). Do you see what happened friends? Isra-El wanted to be like the other nations and have human kings instead of YaHuWaH the Almighty as King. And they got what they desired. They were not at rest, because they coveted what was not theirs to have—man in place of God. And this set the stage for the rest of prophetic history…

Samuel warned them what would happen. Speaking of the human king, he said, “He will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants” (v. 14). The land that was theirs to have was to be given to their own human kings. But over time, these kings became more and more evil; and the influence of these kings made the people more evil continually. First the northern part, later called Isra-El, played the harlot with God; and Judah broke off and remained somewhat faithful for a time. But history repeated itself and it became like Isra-El, or Samaria. It got to the point where the Almighty could no longer bless either house of Isra-El; and without His blessing over them, they were no longer protected from the invasions of other nations. And because they chose to have their own human kings to reign over them, the time of the sheba came and Isra-El went into captivity to foreign human kings—first Isra-El, then Judah. Both houses of Isra-El had their own sheba: Isra-El’s beginning in 723 BC with their wicked king Manasseh taken into captivity to Assyria, and Judah’s beginning in 677 BC with their wicked king Hoshea taken into captivity to Babylon; these are the very years that our early pioneers used—they just didn’t see that there were two 2520’s, only one or the other to dwell on.

Isra-El’s captivity lasted from 723 BC to 1798 AD, a period of 2,520 years. And just as four sheba curses were announced in Leviticus 26, four kingdoms ruled over them, all because they chose human kings to rule over them instead of entering into the glorious rest that King YaHuWaH would have provided for them, and through them, all the other nations of the world who would behold His glory. Sabbath rest, or Shabath, was Plan A, but Isra-El chose Plan B, the sheba, instead. Rome ruled the longest and became the Papacy, which lasted until finally the pope was taken captive in the year 1798. And as we learned, a seven-month extension was added to that leading to 2008, when the Sabbath began to be proclaimed more fully. And just now we are entering the seventh, or Sabbatical, year of this final generation.

Isra-El’s sheba testifies of the scattering and focuses on the curse of the sheba under the four prophetic kingdoms under the Pagan and Papal desolating powers—each lasting for 1260 years, switching over in the year 538 AD.

Page 14: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

But Judah’s sheba testifies of the gathering and focuses on the cure of the sheba. Oh yes! And that is the beauty of it all.Isra-El cursed themselves, but Yahushua, who was the Lion of the tribe of Judah, came to bring a cure to this curse; we will be looking mathematically how, and let me just give a clue here now: Isra-El’s 2520 include the two 1260s, but Judah’s 2520 bears the 70 weeks and the 2300 years it is cut off from. For starters, their time of sheba lasted from 677 BC to 1844 AD, a period of 2,520 years. Behold, “The Anointed One hath redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree” (Galatians 3:13)—and that He did in the midst of the 70 th week (3 ½ years on either side) of the 70 weeks cut off from the 2300 years ending in 1844, the beginning of the gathering time.

O brothers and sisters, the Law and the Prophets doth testify of this gathering after the scattering, which will be full accomplished in this generation: “YaHuWaH (the LORD) thy Elohiym (God) will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither YaHuWaH (the LORD) thy Elohiym (God) hath scattered thee” (Deuteronomy 30:3). “Hear the word of YaHuWaH (the LORD), O ye nations, and declare [it] in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Isra-El will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd [doth] his flock. For YaHuWaH (the LORD) hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of [him that was] stronger than he. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of YaHuWaH (the LORD), for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all” (Jeremiah 31:10-12). “Thus saith the Lord YaHuWah (GOD); I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Isra-El. And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be My people, and I will be their Elohiym (God)” (Ezekiel 11:17-20). Sound like new covenant language? You decide. There are also several other references of the scattering and gathering in the book of Ezekiel, but we will forgo those because I have one last thing to bring out, and that is the type and antitype of the scattering and gathering…

Remember I told you that two other time prophecies were intertwined with the sheba regarding the land laying to rest? Please allow me now to bring them out before we close…

Let’s review Verses 33 and 34 of Leviticus 26:“26:33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

26:34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye [be] in your enemies' land; [even] then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.”

There are two different fulfillments for these verses—a type and an antitype…

Page 15: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

The type actually involves the 70 years of captivity that most Adventists are familiar with; let’s look at this text:

Regarding the king of Babylon taking Isra-El captive, it is written: “And them that escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia: to fulfill the word of YaHuWaH (the LORD) by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath, to fulfill the threescore and ten (or seventy) years” (2 Chronicles 36:20, 21). But where does this seventy years come from? It has a very interesting origin…

Saul was the first human king of Isra-El, and this is really that catalyst for the curse. From that time until the children of Isra-El were carried away to Babylon was about 490 years—a timespan running from about 1097 BC to 607 BC. Now both before and after 607 BC is a period of 70 years—the earlier one serving as a probation, which began the very year that Judah’s king (thus kingdom) was taken captive, and the later one being the 70-year captivity that most of us are familiar with. And this ran from 607 BC to 537 BC. Now there are two interesting things I want to bring out about this seventy years. Foremost, it is the years that the land of Isra-El should have been resting, but could not due to the reigns of human kings, just as Samuel had told them. Please think this through. For 490 years, there should have been 70 Sabbaths of land-rests; jubilees are not counted by the prophecy, probably because the Almighty just wanted to keep it simple. So these were accounted for in the 70 years of intense captivity, and the cause of that captivity—for as the prophecy says, “Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye [be] in your enemies' land.” The famous commentator Adam Clarke gives this same explanation. That is nothing new. Nor is the restoration of Isra-El following that 70-year period under the leaders Zerubbabel (meaning out of Babel, or Babylon), Ezra, and Nehemiah.

But what is new is the idea that this restoration after the 70 years is only a type of the restoration after Judah’s seven prophetic years. You see, even after Jerusalem being rebuilt, the Jews were still under the authority of Persia, then Greece, then Rome. They paid their dues and were not independent. Nor were they at rest. They had a number of wars, with the last being a fatal blow in 70 AD when they were seiged by the Roman army that the Christians—the true Isra-El—escaped from. But even they remained under Papal authority for the entire second half of Isra-El’s sheba. Therefore, the restoration following the 70 years was only a type. Now here is the second interesting thing about the 70 years…

Starting with 677 (the beginning of Judah’s sheba) there were two sets of 70 years, the latter being their total captivity. But do you realize that there are perfectly 36, 70-year periods in a sheba. That’s right! 70 years times 36 equals 2520. Therefore, the 70-year captivity is just cut off from the whole sheba by a factor of 36, a number well-known throughout the world to represent completion. The true restoration occurs when the Sanctuary shall be cleansed, beginning in 1844—the end of Judah’s sheba. This gathering time is a gathering of Isra-El into the everlasting covenant by the everlasting gospel—the precious Three Angels’ Messages; and the physical gathering “when we all go to heaven” occurs in this generation by the seven-month extension from Isra-El’s sheba. “Then commences the jubilee, when the land should rest.”

Page 16: Web view... YaHuWaH has had with His people Isra-El over time. ... had pitched in the wilderness; and there Isra ... would have lived as the 144,000 did had they the

And that is the Sabbath Millennium. Do you see it? Our earth is past six days old (using the day-for-1000-year principle) and it is awaiting its Sabbath Millennium, that it may rest for one-seventh of the years it should have rested, just as the 70 years of the 490 years of human kings was the type of it. Oh this truth has been in the Bible all this time but is finally being uncovered now—for the whole purpose that we may be that last generation who fully and completely come out of Babylon and enter into the Almighty’s everlasting rest. What a time to be living! Will you be among those gathered?

(TRUMPET: You will see your Lord a-coming)
