Mapping my area: Use Google Earth or a map to find out about the streets near where you live.

Create a map that shows all of the most important places in your area. Try to include street names and images if you can.

Describe your ideal holiday. Think about:

Where might you go?

What would you do? Who would you go

with?

Art:

The View from my Window: Find an interesting window in your house. Take your time, draw the view that you can see. Try and include every detail of what you can see.

Day 5

If an alien visited Earth for the day, what would

you do with him?Think about:

Where would you take him?

What would you do together?

How would you talk to him?

Check: Capital letters and

Music:

Writing a song: Think about something you love doing.Pick a song that you know well.

Try and change the words of the song so that it is about the thing you love doing.

Try and make it rhyme. Think about the number of beats each word needs.

Sing your song for an audience, and video it for class dojo if you can!

Day 6

What would be your ultimate meal?

Think about: What is your

favourite meal? What is your

favourite snack? What is your

favourite cake?

Check: Does each sentence

make sense? Have you described

the food?

Coding: Log into j2E and create a j2Data coding animation. Have fun, explore and be creative! What can you achieve?

Day 7

Write a letter to yourself in the future about what

you hope you will be doing in 10 years time.

Think about: What job would you

have? Where would you be

living? Who would be your

friends?

PE:

Exercise Routine: Make up an exercise routine consisting of 10 actions. Practice it, repeat it until you are an expert. Then teach your routine to someone else in your house.

Day 8

Choose a picture of a setting from the box and

write a paragraph to describe it. Pretend you

are standing there. Think about:

Writing in first person

Where could it be? What adjectives can

you use?

Check Does every

sentence make sense?

Have you used exciting adjectives?

DT:

Build a Boat: find interesting junk around the house. Use it to make a boat. Try and make it as accurate as you can. Join it carefully and decorate it in an interesting way.

Day 9

Write a story using this sentence starter:

The clock stopped. It was 74 minutes past 18, it was

time to get up. Think about:

Why is the time very strange?

Where could the story take place?

Who might live in this strange place?

Check: Does every

sentence make sense?

Have you written it in the third or first person?

Day 10

Write a story with this as the title: It was the day

the moon fell. Think about:

Why did the moon fall?

Who found out that the moon had fallen?

Did they manage to get it back in the sky again?
