How many questions can you get students to ask?

What worked.Many opportunities in theory to test, share, extend, consolidate knowledge and differentiate.Works for analysis of performance and works for game set ups rather than pupils switching off when teachers give long explanations.

What didn’t work.Work on skill development. Pupils not knowledgeable enough. Would work better with elite performers who have detailed knowledge of expected outcomes.

Is ‘feeding up’ key to supporting students in asking questions?

Ask the students to set the lesson objective

• Could be developed over time.

• Students understand Blooms if introduced to them.

• Would be worth sticking with as increases reflectiveness and focus on the learning.

• Vague LOs show that students get the gist of the lesson but more specific measureable LOs will allow students to focus more and in affect create their own success criteria.
