PARENTS AS TEACHERS FOUNDATIONAL TRAINING

Family Support Network is pleased to offer the PAT Foundational   Training to professionals working with families of young children, beginning prenatally until 3 years of age.

Facilitated by Parents as Teachers certified trainers who emphasise reflective practice and hands-on learning, the Foundational   training:

Emphasises the PAT strengths-based approach to working with families.

Builds relationship-based competencies for providing personal visits.

Focuses on strengthening protective factors to improve

parenting and maximise child outcomes.

Parents as Teachers (PAT) is an internationally recognised leader in early childhood home visitation. Using an evidence-based model to deliver parent education primarily through home visits, PAT is implemented in many communities around the world, reaching families during
