Spread the word to everyone you know who wants to try curling! We will be holding a Registration Open House & Goldline Demo Day

on Friday, October 11 from 1-7pm

All Welcome: Come and enjoy some complimentary appetizers and meet your Curling Council and League Conveners. This is a great time to register for the season and sign up for the Leagues you wish to play in. We kick off curling season with our first bonspiel, the always fun “1000 Islands Toyota Swing & Sweep” scheduled on Saturday, October 19th. Join us for this fun format playing both curling and 9 holes of golf.

BCC’s Director of Sport Operations, Doug Wark, enters his third year and is excited about this year’s program that will focus on continuing to grow curling participation and member value. New this season he has partnered with veteran player/instructor Lisa Taylor to launch an exciting new BCC “Learn to Curl” program offering structured classes to introduce new curlers to tryout the sport. Our BCC Winter Slam 2-day Curling & Entertainment Event is scheduled for January 17th & 18th, 2020. We will continue to host our popular TGIF Open Rink curling on most Fridays offering “Wing Nights” and entertainment. Our new & popular “Beer League” will run again on a bi-weekly basis (every second Friday) aiming to attract a full 12 teams. We look forward to hosting the OCA - Mixed Doubles Ontario Championship this February. We hope this will create added interest for players to sign-up to play in our TGIF Doubles League that is growing in popularity. Doug will be working closely with Katherine Brown, Christine Molloy, Steve Wilson and Andrew Bischof to continue to expand and develop the Little Rock and Bantam Curling Program.

Matt Hone will continue as our Head Ice Technician with Ara Papertzian returning as his assistant. Matt has done a great job over the past few years maintaining what we know to be the best ice in the area.

Play Smart, Play Safe, and Have Fun! We look forward to another great season.
