Frost around the grapes

I began by opening the original image in Photoshop

Using the magic wand tool I filled in the background black.

To fill in the patches that weren’t black I used a paintbrush to colour in the background

Here’s the image with the background completely black.

I then added a cooling filter to the image as I felt the grapes were too bright. This added a blueish effect to the image which I thought worked well.

Using a paintbrush tool I had previously downloaded and I added this effect to the grapes. I felt this effect added an autumn theme to the image.

Using a plain paintbrush tool I created a glow effect around the grapes which I feel resembles a night scene with moonlight glowing on the grapes.
