Media Release For Immediate Release A First! WWF-Thailand invites the people of Thailand to crack the nature’s code and speak up for nature with “WWF Translate” Bangkok, 15 th December, 2014 WWF-Thailand (World Wide Fund for Nature) launches its first ever social media campaign called “WWF Translate” via application on WWF-Thailand’s Facebook page. The application opens up an opportunity for fellow social media users to crack the nature’s code and speak in nature’s language. Today, we have got celebrities, artists, singers, influencers and the entertainment industries speaking up for nature and the environment. Alphabets, words, signs and symbols make up a language we humans use to communicate. Likewise, other species and living beings have their own language, one we may not hear and we may not understand. How great would it be if we could talk their talk? How great would it be if we could understand what they're asking - what nature is asking? And even better, how great would it be if we could be their voice and let the unheard be heard? With WWF Translate we hope that we can speak up for the future of our nature and the future of our planet. The application “WWF Translate” on facebook.com/wwfthailand was developed by WWF-Thailand together with Dentsu Thailand Co.,Ltd, a leading advertising agency with a vision to share with people the knowledge and need for ecosystems, nature, the environment including forests, wild elephants, tigers, wetlands, aquatinc species and energy. Social media users can engage in this fun and informative learning experience just by going to facebook.com/WWFThailand > Click on Let’s Translate > Speak up for nature by typing what you want the world to know > and Click on “Translate” . Nature’s language will then show up and users can share with their friends the message that they want their friends to decode on their wall page. A First! WWF-Thailand invites the people of Thailand to crack the nature’s code and speak up

for nature with “WWF Translate” Bangkok, 15th December, 2014

WWF-Thailand (World Wide Fund for Nature) launches its first ever social media campaign called “WWF Translate” via application on WWF-Thailand’s Facebook page.

"WWF wants to communicate to people the fact that humans and all living beings are all connected, we’re all connected. WWF Translate is a tool that aims to make people more conscious, aware and understand the importance of the living beings on the same planet as us, our nature. Species and living beings maybe hundreds of kilometers away from us but in reality Tigers, elephants, forest, wetlands are closer to us then we realize. These are the natural resources that provide for us, from the air that we breathe to the water that we drink and the food that we eat. Likewise, such living beings needs us to provide and speak up for them. If only us humans, stop and listen to what the nature has to say and together conserve it, we all can live in harmony with nature and species.” Said Yowalak Thiarachow, Country Director, WWF-Thailand.

“I have always thought that everyone is born with a duty that they need to fulfill which differs from one another depending on each person’s skills and responsibility but then I
