Oakland Universityhttps://oakland.edu/summer/camps/OU offers many different camps for high school students in almost every department including Career exploration camps, robotics, and engineering.The Camp RN and Aspiring Physicians programs are competitive and registration will fill up quickly.

University of Michiganhttps://ceo.umich.edu/k-12-summer-academic-opportunities/There are many different programs and camps based on interest.ArcStart offered by the Taubman School of Architecture.Portfolio Prep offered by the Stamps School of Art and Design and prepares students needing an art portfolio in a 2-week intensive camp. Applications are required and acceptance is competitive.Computational Camp, MiBytes, Earth Camp and Girls in Science all appeal to those interested in math, science and robotics.Telluride (TASS) offers students two college level classes, on in African American Studies. Students must be rising juniors (10th grade summer) to enroll.Engineering camps, pre-dental studies, debate, theatre, and many other academic offerings complement sports camps.

Banson NYC(917) 328-1469One-week sessions where students learn the fundamentals of the fashion industry.  Students will visit facilities, attend seminars and participate in activities to hone their fashion skill set.  Admission is first come first served.  

Barnard Collegewww.barnard.edu/summer10th and 11th grade girls are invited to apply for programs ranging from one day to weeklong classes, including programs such as “Summer in the City”, “Dance in the City”, liberal arts programs. Scholarships offered. Applications are required.

Denison University Reynolds Writing Projectwww.reynolds.denison.eduThis program is an 8-day offering for rising juniors and seniors who love to write. Financial aid offered. This particular program is over 20 years old.

Duke Universityhttp://summersession.duke.edu/high-school-studentsDuke has programs for high school students: credit, and enrichment. There is not a specific deadline but limited space and interest mean spots will fill quickly.

Students may elect to study neuroscience, film, computer science, or creative writing. College Prep Program: High School sophomores and juniors can take undergraduate courses for college credit or to enroll in a 2-week IN FOCUS seminar in as special topic area.Medill Journalism Institute: This in-depth, 5-week program designed for students who have just finished their junior year of high school and wish to become better writers and editors for print, online and broadcast. Smith Collegewww.smith.edu/summerGirls in grades 9-12 invited to apply. The campus is beautiful and this is one of the only women’s institutions with an engineering program.

Stanford Universityhttp://summercollege.stanford.edu/Pre-college classes. Students can take from 1-5 classes for college credit. Scholarships are available.

UC-San Diegohttp://academiconnections.ucsd.edu/Students with a minimum unweighted 3.3 GPA are welcome to apply to 2 different programs. Regular program taught by doctoral candidates and includes SAT prep. Research Scholars program taught by professors and offers students the chance to conduct research into chemistry, biology, nanotechnology or biochemistry.

There are classes in science, writing, pre-law, pre health, global studies, business, engineering, architecture, and global studies.
