BUSINESS RATES DOWN ONE THIRD FOR ENGLISH AND WELSH SELF-CATERERS The Professional Association of Self-Caterers (PASC UK) has negotiated a major reduction in the Rateable Values (RV’s) for all self-catering operators in England and Wales. The average reduction will be about a third less than the current RV’s leading to significantly reduced Business Rates bills for many and will take others below the £12,000 RV meaning they will pay no Business Rates at all. This will not happen automatically, and PASC UK has a Q&A on how to reduce your RV without the need for professional advice. This is the culmination of eleven years work lobbying the Valuation Office. To find out more about this major breakthrough, and all the other activities that PASC UK is working on, please contact [email protected] for more details. About PASC UK. PASC’s sole purpose is to lobby the Government on behalf of professional self-caterers. These are not normally second home owners, or owners that let their properties via agents. These are small businesses that manage both the bookings and the guest welcome themselves, and where the self-catering business is a primary income stream for the owners. PASC UK is the only Association fighting on your behalf to: Reduce the burden of Business Rates for self-caterers To get Inheritance Tax Relief restored for legitimate professional self-caterers Ensure a level playing field for tax and regulation for all accommodation providers Resist the introduction of Bed-Taxes in the UK Support the Cut Tourism VAT Campaign Establish a ‘safe and legal’ MOT for all accommodation providers

BUSINESS RATES DOWN ONE THIRD FOR ENGLISH AND WELSH SELF-CATERERS

The Professional Association of Self-Caterers (PASC UK) has negotiated a major reduction in the Rateable Values (RV’s) for all self-catering operators in England and Wales.

PASC UK is the only Association fighting on your behalf to:

Reduce the burden of Business Rates for self-caterers To get Inheritance Tax Relief restored for legitimate professional self-caterers Ensure a level playing field for tax and regulation for all accommodation providers Resist the introduction of Bed-Taxes in the UK Support the Cut Tourism VAT Campaign Establish a ‘safe and legal’ MOT for all accommodation providers

No other organisation is as focused on improving the business environment for professional self-caterers. With excellent contacts at both Government and other lobbying groups, PASC UK is an effective Association with a proven track record. We need your support to continue to be as effective as we have to date. Membership funds are critical to enable PASC UK to maintain the pressure.
