00:00:01:22

My name is MPYISI Esdras, I’m a pastor in the seventh day Adventist church

00:00:07:23

I was born in 1922

00:00:15 I saw a lot on what happened in Rwanda

00:00:21:07

Musinga was expelled from Kamembe in Kinyaga; I was in my first born-days by that time. We lived near Nyanza. He was carried away, him and his standing army. I was still a young boy; I had no idea on what was going on.

00:00:43:00

When I reached home my father told me the whole story, for him he knew. He told me the reason behind the expulsion of Musinga from his country. This is what I am going to tell you. This is what led to this Genocide.

00:01:13:06

There is no way we can talk about Genocide without talking about Rwanda, the genocide – stricken country…. and talking about Rwanda, we must start from its background not only the Rwanda of nowadays because everything got roots.

00:01:30:09

First, we must make sure of the fact that there was Rwanda, Rwanda means Rwandese, country of Rwandese. Rwandeses were intelligent as they are God’s creators; their creator created them with a certain level of intelligence.

They had their way of living. Those people wouldn’t cohabitate without a certain civility. There were elders and youngsters, children and parents. As far as concerning human society on earth, there were to be rich and poor people, leaders and followers, without this civility, things would go worse

00:02:25:07

First and foremost, Rwandese worked out on what sort of people they were by establishing different categories. These categories starting from their home cells.

The man was the head of the family and his wife was to stand by him always to help. Children born from that home knew the father & the mother to be their parents and are the ones to take care of them.

Parents also knew that their responsibility was to take care and look after the kids until they are gown up. In their turn, children when grown up were to help their parents when old.

00:03:20:16

One would give birth to rejoice in seeing oneself in one’s children, and for children, time would come to make their parents happy.

The man and the woman were to get married, rejoice in their marriage and this was God’s plan first and foremost creating Adam and Eve. This is even the base of this way of living. There was the father, mother and children and even relatives staying in that home. The relatives staying in that home had to follow certain regulations of the home. The father was the head, helped by his wife and would not do nothing wrong in the sight of

their children. They had to serve as example to their kids in order to correct their ways once they are wrong.

When they were to discuss a serious issue, they could discuss from a safe and silent place as elders. That’s the organization that started from home

00:04:23:09

As I said, there were Rich and Poor people, the poor person worked for the rich one to gain something whether a cow or just working for his survival. He stayed there all of his born days. He respected the home members and them in return also respected him.

Things can’t help in any way! Unless you got people to use them.

You could give him what you had in order to gain his work force and hence the family extends.

It would happen that a poor loses a member of their family then the rich would help them getting over the loss because it was counted as one of the family. When the rich lost one of his family members the poor helped him also to get over the loss. This was the whole logic behind the family way of life

00:05:11:03

Another positive issue, children were in hands of their parents, they grew up from there, parents were to correct their ways to show them the right way.

Yeah, schools are part of development but have also contributed as set back in many ways. Nowadays, a child starts schooling at a very low

age, receives no education from the parents. One just imitates the lifestyle of their school society. Schools are part of development but have also ruined and pulled down our culture because those kids won’t be having none from their culture, as the culture is taught by the parents yet those kids are never with them.

00:05:58:15

Those home cells were to be coordinated somewhere, they appointed different levels of leadership, they appointed something they called a king. The king had Governors under him these last having also leaders under them. They had someone representing what they called umukenke, those in charge of lands.

One had his land another with his, and they had leaders in charge of forming boundaries of lands. Without this, one would occupy as big territory as he wanted and this would contribute a lot to wars.

We had this organization and our way of living before the arrival of whites, either at home on in the leadership.

00;06:55:24

For the king to be of high worthy and merit, they obeyed him according to their level of understanding, he had also something related to their religion of taking up God’s position on earth. ‘If you disobey the king in any way, you will face dire consequences’ they used to say. But this didn’t mean that he would face dire consequences, it’s just a way of heightening its value.

The king had rules and regulations to follow; if he did not serve his people in the right way he was to face dire consequences. Each and everyone had a

limit in the doing even those in high levels of leadership. It was the Governor’s duty to be there for the king, as he wasn’t able to tour up and down the whole country and the Governors also had leaders under them to look after the people up to those who are down to earth.

00:07:50:05

You now say that you got democracy; Rwanda had democracy since ever. The king would not reign anyhow. He had advisors; he had magi that would tell him ‘if you do this you will face dire consequences’. Nowadays democracy is all about ‘it’s up to me’. The Governor wouldn’t lead or rule over the people anyhow, because he was leading king’s people, not his people. Each and everyone were free to reach the king, once he is mistreated. The Governor was to follow king’s orders and leaders to follow the Governors’ orders. In the mankind nature, if you have no authority or power on top of you, you just do anything on your own and mess up everything.

Taking that on the religion side or point of view, one was to respect that on the religion side, not anyhow.

For example, children had to respect their parents. In order to teach the daughter-in-law to respect the in-law parents they told her that it’s forbidden to call them by their names, and once you call them by their names, you will give birth to crippled or disabled children.

00:09:23:18

This was not true that she could give birth to disabled children. It was just a custom that dated long time ago, later it become a church tradition.

Later at the arrival of whites, taking a census they obliged the daughter-in-law to tell the name of her in-law parents, it couldn’t happen.

It’s now said: ‘the Church hallowed taboos’ but the church also got its own taboos. They made holy our taboos, misled us and we could die once we do beyond their taboos. we miss the religion of our ancestors, we miss the church brought by foreigners, this is what led to this Genocide! I do not mind, I’ll tell you this nothing will happen.

00:10:16:22

The monarchy was organized; it had an army to fight when they declared war on other countries. How do you think our Rwanda come to extend? You can see how big Rwanda is now. How did it happen? This name ‘Inkotanyi’ was name dropped from the king’s army of that time. Those who don’t know might think of it as something new. For them [Inkotanyi] they know it’s not something new, it dates from long time ago.

Rwanda extended, kept on extending. The king came to thrash over the whole Ankore and reached Masaka. He reached Congo, Benin, he went up to Karagwe.

Butare was formerly a Burundian province, it became a Rwandan. This young full generation doesn’t know this; it will cost them much to work for their country. This is the organization of Rwandan monarchy of that time.

00:11:34:11

What helped them is their sense of respecting each other. When people don’t respect each other, this is when hatred is incurred among people, guess what the consequences are? That is the

lifestyle of our Rwanda of that time.

The elder deserved respect, and him also, was to respect youngsters because if he didn’t, he was to take consequences. There is a huge number of examples.

The world is becoming worse and worse, before people would kill each other but not Genocide… When it happened for one to kill another person, that person was called ‘Inzigo’. They couldn’t go and kill the whole family. The crime is personal; to mean the killer was the one to face the revenge.

‘If we don’t revenge for the dead, the ghost will trouble and torment us’ they thought. You might take them to be pagan or heathen! No, that was their way of thinking in their relationship with God!

They had to revenge for the dead, they killed the one who killed him, and After the revenge they gathered together: drink, eat and dance celebrating that the aversion is finished.’ Both sides gathered together and befriend again.

They thought that hence they have removed whatever would cause the ghost to come and trouble them! Thus people befriended again.

00:13:38:18

Later, they could realize that whole family is perishing.

We killed the one who killed and if it happens for another one to kill we will kill him, finally we will finish the whole family. They were free to go to the king, ‘we have a problem they could tell the king,’ a relative killed a relative! What do we do?’ we are

about to finish the whole family

00:14:06:19

The king had his magi to tell him what to do; they had to ask their God they trusted! You might say that they were heathen; don’t we, us, ask valueless things to God? Do we have magi?

They asked their God ‘Do this man merit death? If he doesn’t die, will these people continue to kill each other?’ It was for the king to say if the aversion is broken; the one who was to die is then saved and they start a new relationship and befriend again.

00:14:55:17

Time to time, they realized that killing is not only harmfully but is also difficult. They could take a banana tree on top of a mountain, both sides ( the side of the killer and the side of the dead), call up on the dead with a loud voice and tell him they are revenging for him.

They cut the banana tree into a million pieces as a gesture or symbol of revenging.

They cried and after celebrated that the aversion is finished, yet the family is not finished…

00:15:38:04

Don’t you find organization in all this? They respected the King; him also, couldn’t do anything carelessly as he knew that if he did wrong he was to face the consequences. They first had to ask their God. The difference is that we got different ways of talking to our God according to our faith.

That served and helped a lot to the point that even when people hated each other, they did that in a polite way. It would happen for some to be criminals but they were punished as criminals.

That’s our Rwanda of that time.

00:16:20:09

Those who brought us religion and churches found us with our religion, we had our religion! Those who came to rule found us with a based realm and kingship with an army, with leaders and obedient followers. They now say that people made offerings to the king. Do you think that offerings took an end? the taxes we pay are like offerings. If you don’t make offerings to the king, how do you think the leaders, district prosecutor will survive? It’s only the system that changed; instead of offering beans, we give money. Other ways nothing changed.

Others complain that the king was carried in a carrycot. Do you want the king to be like you? How can he tour up in his country if not carried in a carrycot? The taxes we pay contribute in buying the cars of the leaders. What is new? Instead it’s just the system that changes as the world changes but nothing is new. This is to convince you that Rwanda was there, existing with a certain honor.

00:17:43:21

This was time for Rwanda to change. I am just giving a brief view, without talking much. One can use this to achieve a lot. They had their king on top, as we have the president. America has a president; All Africa nations got presidents. Their presidents are like kings. It’s only the name that changed.

The king is the president, the president is the king.

00:18:22:20

Time came when The Whites came to Rwanda; Germans came first to Rwanda. The Whites did not come in Africa with an intention of developing the

continent, they just came to drive people into their slaves; they wanted people to work for them to grow richer; They didn’t care for the slaves, dying or their survival was up to them.

We got a lot proving, as we hear from elders and tales, Germans [whites] came from Tanganyika. Tanganyika is the name of that time, it’s now known as Tanzania being united with Zanzibar.

At their arrival, they found in place Abahinza. Umuhinza is not a king, he’s like a symbol of a king. They didn’t have any civility or organization; they didn’t have any law to follow like Rwanda did. And each area in Tanzania had its own Umuhinza but Rwanda had 1 king and before sitting enthroned he also found in place Abahinza and overthrown them. Rwanda had one king. Only Rwanda and Burundi had one king as it was in European and white countries!

You can’t imagine how distinguished we were! We could even contribute in the organization of those The Whites so called ‘developed’! In countries that had or still have kings, do any has 2 kings?

We had one king ruling over the whole country and now we have 1 president. It Can’t happen if we had two presidents in Rwanda? Don’t you realize that the king had his strategies to thrash over abahinza? This is the reason up to now many parties come in competition and lose; only one comes to win! The losers agree to cooperate. If Umuhinza was overthrown he easily submitted to the winner and co-work together. The law-breaker was punished.

That’s Rwanda!!

00:19:01:23

The Whites came, thrashed over Abahinza of Tanzania. Seems like there was a wise priest who advised them before coming to Rwanda. You have to be full of attention for the country you are going to. he told them. They are not Abahinza like others you use to know.

He’s the chief commander of the army, he has an organized power, you are going to fight. ‘How do we do?’ The Whites asked. Go, but just be submissive and submit to his authority; Go asking them to co-habit ate. That’s how Germans came. They changed later on, but to enter the country they brought offerings, brought clothes and the king welcomed them. That’s why you will hear elders saying that Germans were our friends, but as ill luck would have it, Belgians came as our enemies.

He came submissive, peaceful and quite with a will of ruling over after. He was welcomed, befriended the king and Rwandese, cohabitated and did well.

They ruled over the country and the king found in them some strength that the wanted to co work with them.

But Germans kept on changing time to time, changing their doing but by that time Rwandese were still in the darkness. They would have revealed that and drove them out. But he was wise enough to befriend them.

00:21:08:17

Germans had taught Rwandese to shoot with guns. Things changed, the world war threw up, and Germans had to fight with the whole world.

Germans were drove out of the countries they ruled, apart from our Rwanda. Belgians attached them and had to fight. If you heard a piece of poetry on how Rwandese fought on the Germans’ side, it’s a miracle perform. They helped them in an unbelievable way!

In that part near Kivu, there is a place where they were fighting near Kibuye, Belgians fighting with Germans. Germans realized that there was no way out for them to win the war. Rwandese told them:’ Go, we will stay here shooting, they will still think that you are here, but go.’ Rwandese kept on fighting with Belgians, using German’s Guns, their friendship is obvious.

Germans went. Not after a short time Rwandese realized how powerful Belgians are. They fired where they were. Belgians easily thought that it’s their guns that had fired the place. They came slowly by slowly, shooting no one, but found no one [Germans had left]. They only found Rwandese in place, but brave Rwandese had gone escorting Germans. They left others having told them to submit to the Belgians authority once they are overthrown. This is what they did. ‘We were Germans servants, and they left us’ they told Belgians. We submit to your authority, use us in any way you want. What fired this place?’ ‘Your guns’. They answered. ‘And you didn’t die?’ We were hidden up there. Germans got saved by Rwandese.

00:23:00:05

Those who went with Germans left them at Bukoba, that’s where they disbanded and branched off. That’s how Belgians conquered

Rwanda.

00:25:29:09

When they conquered Rwanda, Rwandese never submitted to the Belgian authority. For real, Germans had developed a tight friendship with Rwandese. Rwandese, their king, never submitted to the Belgian authority just because Belgians had turned out their good friends.

00;25:43:07

By the time, Belgians discovered how Germans were helped by Rwandese. ‘These can’t be our friends’ Belgians wondered. This is why elders used to say that Germans were foolish.

‘We are going to reduce Rwanda to ashes’ they could say [the Belgians]. Our ancestors didn’t know neither to write nor to read but always told us that.

00;26:06:14

Rwandese, their king, never befriended Belgians because they had driven out their good friends. There was no good reason to continue fighting, later they submitted to the Belgian authority but before they never befriended, and Belgians knew.

That’s why at the arrival of Belgians no Rwandese would join the police or join the army. They recruited soldiers from Congo under a plea that Rwandese unable. ‘They can’t manage shooting’ they said. But they thought that: ‘once we give them guns, they will turn us out as it happened to Germans.’ That is the hatred between Rwandese and Belgians.

00:26:38:02

Later,(we are now starting with enemies) religious came. Belgians told religious, holy priests in particular, [named up to their association]

‘These Rwandese’, Belgians told priests and other Religious, ‘help us ruling over Rwandese without fighting’.

They took up other strategies and told Rwandese ‘this is the new religion we are bringing for you’. Follow Jesus, follow God and if one obeys God, no way he can disobey his master. And the master they meant was the white, the priest. Musinga asked ‘who is that God you are bringing us?’ they told him that he’s called God or Dieu. What does that mean? He asked. It means God. They discoursed and end up with a conclusion that it meant God [He was God for sure] Musinga told them: ‘if that’s the God you are bringing, we already have one’.

We say Habyarimana [God is the one who provides children], Hategekimana [God rules], Kubwimana [with God’s help], don’t you realize that we also prayed and for real Rwandese prayed their God. They could use their witch craft and sometimes fail;’ the remaining hope is God’s help’ they said once they failed.

00:27:27:21

The king you hear was considered as God, no, it’s not true. They ever told him :"Nyakugirimana [be with God]". They knew their God but had no clear view. The king persisted on his Religion, priests ordered him to get baptized.

If you don’t get baptized, you’re trouble ‘priests told him.

You want me to desert and forsake my religion to join yours? My God can’t allow me that! He

refused. ‘You are in trouble’ they told him.

Belgians delighted the king: ‘Forsake Rwanda and sign for giving out your country.’ I can’t do that! Rwanda is not mine, Rwanda belongs to Rwandese, Go and ask them, ‘if you don’t give out your county, you will die’ they told him. ‘kill me’, he answered

00:29:08:15

It wasn’t the first time: it would happen for the wizards to predict that a misfortune is to strike Rwanda and that the one and only thing to save the country is the king’s blood. This meant that the king had to go on battle, ready to fight until he dies. They were then deep down convinced that the king’s blood has saved Rwanda from troubles. The king could go and die for the country and there after appoint another king from his family

00:30:02:12

For Musinga to refuse forking out his country or deserting from his religion wasn’t something new for him. He did what his ancestors had done. He accepted to die for his country.

00:30:39:06

When He was expelled from the county, Rwandese wanted to fight. Musinga stopped them. he told them that Belgians are more powerful.

All my children are now baptized. They are all here with me! Don’t you see that you, who joined that religion, you sinned in the sight of our God! He is no longer on our side! They drove them out, see Belgians ruling over us.

Don’t fight, you will lose and perish. Let me go in order to save your lives. That’s how much the king loved Rwanda;

He could die for his country; that’s what Musinga did; they demolished all his belongings and took him to Kamembe.

00:30:53:23

Later on, they took him to Congo, that’s where he died from; but he did not forsake his country; Rwanda. Among the heroes we have, Musinga proved bravely and induced by no one.

00:31:56:09

After that, they appointed his son Rudahigwa to be king under one condition: he had first to get baptized. There is a serious occult or secret behind that, which people don’t know. Rudahigwa was small of age, he had just started schooling. He realized that they were of less power, wise enough, when you are defeated or thrashed over you have to submit. But for his father, because of the mood he grew up in, he accepted to die. His son [Rudahigwa] had told him even before to submit.

He looked at him and told him: ‘you are surprising me; That we submit and forsake Rwanda?

He had that wisdom of submitting, that’s why they appointed him to be king, if he had acted like his father, and Musinga’s family would have perished. That’s the wisdom of Rwandese.

00:32:12:18

Rwandese, we lived those further years due to the wisdom of Rudahigwa. If they knew!

How can you fight seeing that they are more powerful? Nowadays knights would ask why he didn’t fight.

Now, you are independent but before he [Rudahigwa] wasn’t this independent! If

Rudahigwa wouldn’t have been this wise, do you think you would be still alive by this time? Instead he had this wisdom of submitting to the Belgian authority.

He saved Rwanda, unless it would have perished. And Rudahigwa ruled. That is what I had jumped.

00:33:20:02

Let me rewind a bit. Religion changed peoples mind as it made holy our taboos. And when you hallow taboo, it’s a sure deal that curse is to hang over after. No more elders no youngsters! Democracy vanished and went missing. Followers started abusing their leaders. The king became nothing!

Religious said if you obey your parents, obey and follow Jesus, obey Virgin Mary, How can you obey a pagan? Children started disobeying the parents saying that they are pagans. Democracy then went missing.

The servant started disobeying his master. Briefly, things became worse. If there was to be a king, they [whites] would have sat on the throne and lead Rudahigwa. For him what he would do is to refuse and be killed like they did to his father. Rwandan sovereignty vanished

00 :34 :11 :21

Sovereignty didn’t vanish at the age of Rudahigwa reign. It vanished at the arrival of whites; it was just remaining as a symbol. Because the king used to be above all but time came when someone was above him. Even though the king was still there and alive, there was someone above him. In the Rwandan culture he was no longer a king, and this is the reason behind all these troubles we are

suffering from; because the white didn’t declare himself being the king of Rwanda! How could he become the king of Rwanda? How could he be that patriot?, it’s not his country!! He loved his own county! He became a king of a country that is not his and of course treated it like not his. Yet he acted to be the king. The king of Rwanda was now a foreign Religious.

It’s like caring for step children!

If you are Rwandese you can help them but worse even for them [whites] they were foreigners and the time was to come for them to go back to their country. They played to be our parents without being our parents. ‘These people are possessive’, they said. ‘how are we going to manage them?’ ,’Let’s divide them’

00 :35 :41 :11

Let me tell you some of the strategies they used to divide. Belgians started schools in Nyanza and in other territories but the head quarters were in Nyanza managed by a white called Renaltz, he was nick named Bwanakweli but his real name was Renaltz; he was the governor of Nyanza. It was called a territory that time, as we have provinces nowadays.

They started that school in Nyanza, they taught in Swahili and French, reading and writing. It was meant for Governor’s children. You couldn’t join the school once your father is not a Governor, meaning that no Hutu was to join the school and a poor Tutsi would not join the school. The number of students was limited due to a small number of Governors and leaders. A poor Tutsi would not join the school unless your father is or has ever been a

Governor.

00 :37 :18 :22

Musinga was still alive and asked Renaltz: ‘what is this that you brought in my county?’ In churches, the priest welcomes all people, ‘why this selection in this school?’ Why don’t you allow poor students and rich students to join the school? ‘ to be admitted to this school, unless your father or 1 of your relatives is or has ever been Governor!:’ Renaltz answered

You are bringing us good things I can see, but why do you chose few people to gain the knowledge. Governors were few. ‘That’s how we do’ Renaltz answered. ‘I don’t agree with you.’ Said the king. ‘There is a no way for you to change any thing, is the school yours?’ replied Renaltz. He wasn’t the king no more and he wasn’t that powerful to fight against whites.

00 :38 :30 :23

What they intended is to teach those selected, time reached when they finished and graduated. They overthrew and took over all the belongings of the people who were favored by the king. ‘These people are really foolish’ The Whites concluded. But that one who is now going to rule was taught by Belgians, They overthrown the kings, leaders and Governors, The Whites appointed theirs; A man kind is always misled by things.

00 :39 :48 :04

The selected children who attended that school finally finished. They parceled out Rwanda, each one having his land to govern. The king’s Governors were wearied back and those started ruling. They had to obey their ""master [the whites]. They started beating people to make them work. In the olden days of Rwanda, the rod

served to nothing. Belgians are the ones who developed the use of rod [beating], they gave the rod to the so called ‘children of theirs’. ‘Use this to cudgel Whoever doesn’t want to work.’ they ordered.

Before there was no labor. They brought what we call ‘labor with no payment’; people started working and they started beating people. Whoever wasn’t a leader would be beaten anyhow. Even the siblings to the leaders could be beaten anyhow. That’s how they developed hatred among people.

They could favor them with any one’s cows; The Whites had done all to gain their confidence. People are not stable and are easily misled; they could do whatever the Whites ordered them. Governors of the king and their servants who owned those cows were overthrown by their children and became poor. They could beat whoever Tutsi and Hutu and could snatch cows from anyone whether Hutu or Tutsi, this is the whole logic behind their divisionism.

00:00:01:21

It’s sad because a poor Tutsi seemed to die twice. The ones that were favored with cows are the ones that were recognized and rewarded with cows.

A Tutsi who had cows were to be beaten twice in order to give 1 cow to survive. A Hutu who had nothing to give out was to be beaten once as he had none to give out. That’s how they developed divisionism.

That’s when we revealed their intention of teaching some and that’s how they supported

divisionism.

That’s when we revealed their intention of teaching some and beating the lower ones, they developed hatred among leaders and followers.

In olden days, rod served to nothing’ I said. They developed divisionism among people in an unbelievable way! This is one of the things that contributed a lot in heightening hatred among people.

00:02:02:08

Religious en rolled poor Tutsis and Hutus in their schools. They taught them to hate their leaders, to disobey their leaders. Belgians developed hatred among people on the argument that they fed them, others died of hunger.

Religious on the other hand, promoted their people. A group of people called ‘The Evoluted’ appeared from nowhere. The Evoluted was a group of people that had studied in religious schools or under government scholarship. They stopped them to go back to their fathers’ house, once they are in school.

‘We are going back to the nonentities ‘they used said when going back to visit their parents. Unless there is someone to escort him, they could not spend a night there with that excuse of them being pagans. Hatred came then, divisionism ruled over.

00 :03 :19 :22

Shortly after, they used Hutus to protest against Tutsis. Why can’t you Rule also? Is there anything a Tutsi is capable that you are not? What do they

have that you don’t have? Overthrow them!! Thus divisionism started.

00 :04 :31 :22

Rudahigwa came to reveal that divisionism, He knew that the cause was the rod, the cause was slave labor, leaders wanted people to work for them without payment and Belgians were behind all this.

Rudahigwa called upon all people and put a brake light on rods, ‘do not beat anyone any longer’. If one does wrong let him face justice but never beat anyone anyhow. He stopped slave labor, ‘Those who got cows, share out with your relatives’ he ordered. The servant was to take 2 shares and the master one share.

The leaders who were appointed by the Whites were carried in carrycots [them and their wives]. He stopped ‘the act of being carried in a carrycot and people working without salary.

‘The country must get money to pay its leaders ‘he said, if you want someone to work for you, first negotiate and pay him, but he stopped working without payment.

00 :05 :04 :22

It’s sad to see Belgians raying that they were the first to stop that, instead they were grief–stricken because Rudahigwa had revealed and stopped roots of the divisionism brought by them.

Belgians were sad because that was serving as standing army on their side to develop divisionism among people, ‘Now we are defeated’ they realized. Do people really know how hash and hard was this struggle? They hated him, better was to

kill him.

00:06:42:00

By that time he was catholic, he was a follower of the catholic religion. He realized that he was misled. "Let anyone join a church of his own accord"; I’m in church but I am also king to all. He increased in value up-coming churches of that time. They were of less value and their followers were badly treated. Priests told leaders: ‘direct all the people to us’ if not we will take away your belongings. They had that power.

Rudahigwa put himself into a serious problem. It was time for independence; Rudahigwa joined other Africans to claim for the independence.

Talking about independence, you don’t know, it’s like over throwing the white. ‘Taking milk out of his mouth’ they said.

00:07:20:13

Sometime back, in a meeting at Rwanyido’s, there was a Burundian who was invited, they knew each other and were educated, and he was in a visit here and Rwanyindo. Invited him. Discussing about politics and leadership he told us: ‘It’s really hard to take out a bone with meat on it from a dog’s mouth unless you hit it’.

For Belgians Rwanda is like meat in their mouths, unless you fight against them, they won’t let Rwanda down. Independence was all about suicidal

00:08:24:00

Things kept on becoming worse and worse, Rwandese couldn’t defeat Belgians.

It was time for independence, sorry, I mean time to claim for independence, things became worse

and rude. Belgians took them to be fools. ‘These people claiming for independence are fools’ they said. You can’t even produce a match box for yourself, yet you are claiming for independence! They used these words a lot, but Belgians found us with our traditional matchbox called urushingo.

I also used my match box when grazing our cows.

We could take a small stick well sharpened, then pierce it and insert another stick, automatically you get the fire. They found us with our match boxes. But when they used that language, not few of Rwandese took it to be very strange ‘we can’t produce a match box’ they said. Up to now people are really convinced that matchboxes were brought by whites, we had ours.

They found us; we had our own way of cooking. We had traditional soaps; we couldn’t wear unwashed clothes. We bathed. We had houses, we were not nomads. Instead they brought us their lifestyle, our views and intelligence was weakened.

If they had given us time, we would by now have done a lot of inversion. They brought us finished products, we accepted. Things become worse and they became hash on us.

00:09:16:19

Time came, they divided Rwanda into two parts, and they used a silly language: Hutu and Tutsi, instead of using leaders and followers or rich and poor people they used Hutu and Tutsi, but a poor Tutsi was mistreated and disturbed more than a Hutu.

This was a political language, to do evil and

atrocities that contributed to Genocide.

If they had used words like rich people and poor people or leaders and followers, no divisionism would have occurred. Poor people would have worked hard and struggled, we could have defeated bad leaders. They used that language that mast up all things

00:10:57:11

Time reached when Rudahigwa hated Belgians and Priests clearly. He acted like his father. That time he acted and talked like his father yet more than 30 years had elapsed; He went back to his roots to act like his father.

00 :12 :30 :19

He died for his country like his father did. You can hide and overlay a lie but finally it will be revealed out. Even up to now they are some things that we say and people give less importance to that but finally it will be revealed out. He acted like his father and died like his father; Fortunately he didn’t act like that earlier which helped us survive for more years, otherwise Rwanda would have perished.

00 :13 :03 :21

Time came when he couldn’t be patient any longer like his father.’ We have to be independent at whatever cost.’ He declared clearly. His representatives attended UN summits claiming for independence. PARMEHURU got created. This is a political language, then after came UNAR

00 :13 :40 :17

I deeply thank those who created UNAR, they did not start a Tutsi party, No. majority of Hutus were on UNAR’s side by that time.

UNAR means ‘Union Nationale du Rwanda’.

Tutsi’s, Hutu and Twa they were all welcomed. Other followed that political language of Hutu. And it’s clear that if it for Hutus, no Tutsi or Twa could join the party. It’s that slogan that contributed a huge till the genocide

00 :15 :00 :24

Time came to choose the leader of UNAR.

PARMEHURU got created from kabgayi in the monastery. The church lost focus and crash dived into politics. You saw what happened to Peraudin. Here am telling church leaders to be attentive, when you lose focus of the church and dive into politics.

Peraudin is the one who appointed Kayibanda, he became popular but time came when he had to go back to his home country. He is the one and only bishop who was miss buried. In the catholic history, a bishop is buried where he was anointed to be bishop. He wasn’t buried where he was anointed from. He was buried in his mother county where he took refuge, as a refugee! Why? He lost focus! Any bishop who will read this has to be full attention, keep on his focus. A pastor must be attentive and don’t go into politics. Yeah, he became popular but he finished badly.

00 :16 :39 :21

Time past and past, PARMEHURU started from his house [Peraudin], the whole Rwanda know. He appointed Kayibanda; The Hutu who was to conquer Rwanda is GITERA. He’s the one who fought, not in the name of Hutus but in the name of the whole population. GITERA is the one who fought to the end, KAYIBANDA was not known!.

Gitera was a strict Hutu. Belgians and priests complained that he is going to act or be like Rudahigwa. That’s why they appointed KAYIBANDA to be the president. GITERA was buried but KAYIBANDA wasn’t. He died like his master [Peraudin].

00 :17 :48 :22

People give less meaning and importance to the truth, you can’t overlay or hide history, and where else can you expect them to learn from? There is bad history, and from there learn to be attentive and there’s a good history that you have to follow. This does not mean that our ancestor’s never dealt with bad history but they were attentive.

00 :18 :19 :14

Things become worse, UNAR joined battle with PARMEHURU, UNAR was the thick of the battle but Belgians introduced the use of guns. Guns destroyed UNAR. Kind Hutus helped Tutsis and tried to hide their children, left UNAR for PARMEHURU. That’s how UNAR vanished, and PARMEHURU gained power and Guns. It’s well known by all. Otherwise UNAR had won the traditional war and the majority of the population was on the side of UNAR. But as it’s said: ‘noise never fights realm or attorney. ‘They reached their goal.

00 :19 :24 :20

Before that time, Rudahigwa had left. What killed Rudahigwa? He was ready to go to USA, someone had advised him, "by now you can no longer befriend Belgians and are still ruling; why won’t you fly to America, in the small dignity that is

remained to you, as a king, and deliver the country to Americans?" They will calm Belgians. Rudahigwa died trying to go to USA, we know that very well. We also know who advised him to do that.

00 :20 :15 :01

Rudahigwa went to Bujumbura for a passport; Its clear lighted how badly was organized the power, he went to apply for his passport. Can a president apply for a passport in foreigners? They controlled whatever their own way. He had kept it with him as secret but finally he had no other way because he had to apply for a passport, and to submit to Belgians. He had to tell the whole story to get the passport. They came to know the whole story.

00 :20 :55 :11

Haroi was in Bujumbura, he told an American who was to go with Rudahigwa: ‘Please ask him to allow me to come with you." [With an intention of messing up the whole story.] The American told Rudahigwa and Rudahigwa refused because he knew that he just wanted to mess up everything. Rudahigwa died from Bujumbura where he had gone for his passport to go to America. They saw the whole scene but had no way out, they lost.

00 :21 :29 :19

That time citizens loved Rudahigwa. When drinking beer from a pot after digging or building they left a straw for Rudahigwa. Poor Tutsi and other citizens were convinced that Rudahigwa saved them and left his straw, even though he was never there. This is a symbol of how much Rwanda and Rwandese loved him. You might not know how Rwandese felt after they heard about his death; he died from Burundi ready to go to America. The

worst of it is that he died without fighting….how can I define that death? It’s up to you! And he was in hand of Belgian medical doctors, he went normal driving himself. He died for the country as his father did. They just say that it was the right time for him to die maybe.

00 :22 :54 :17

For those who were not here, things mast up. Hutu, Tutsi… wanted to revenge for their king," we have to revenge for our king "and Belgians are behind his death. They were wise enough to calm them down, but it was a hard issue.

00 :23 :30 :21

Belgians had planned who was to follow after the death of Rudahigwa. They had to choose among 2 people, there was one Tutsi who was a criminal and another Hutu (naming no names); "if not this one then that one, you choose whom you want to be the president’. Belgians said

They transported Rudahigwa’s body from Bujumbura to Nyanza. Many people went to make their farewells.

00 :24 :15 :02

It was now time to bury the king; they buried him there at Mwima, near his home. The tomb existed already, many people came to his funeral, Haroi the governor was also there, and he’s the one who was ruling. The mass was represented by a chief called NSHOGOZA. There was a mass of people. The mother of the king, kankazi was also there. Tutsi, Hutu all crying!!

Haroi took a speech and said: ‘listen fellow Rwandese, we are heartbroken, he lied that he was heart broken, the king is dead, we are now going to bury him and will there after decide on

who's to sit on the throne. In the Rwandan culture it was forbidden to bury a king without appointing the one to replace him. That’s the Rwandese culture since long. I went to England and found that it’s also the same. They can not bury their king unless the one to follow on the throne is appointed.

00:26:11:14

"We are going to bury the king then after we are to sit and decide on who is going to follow on the throne." Harroi told the mass. Rwandese shouted that that couldn’t happen. In our culture, we can’t bury our king unless the one to follow on the throne is appointed.

00:27:40:13

Things become worse; they had recruited solders from Congo, there ready with their guns.

Haroii was well dressed in white, briefly things turned into a mess.

They went straight to the Governor Haroi and told him that it could not happen.

People cried, things turned worse. Some Rwandese told Haroi: ‘we know, these soldiers are here to shoot us but we are many thousands, it might happen to kill a thousand but the survivors will kill you.’ They cleared the everything to him, and all Rwandese were united apart from same who were behind Belgians.

00:28:19:20

It was a mess, everybody there was ready to die. They are people who appeared from nowhere, from bushes with their bows. This was a group of minor and lowered citizens, poor citizens that had suffered and miss treated.

There is one who found himself in the middle of bows and spears. You can’t imagine what a mess happened at Mwima! Some were convinced that it couldn’t happen, whispering to each other and others were like: ‘there is nothing we can do’

RUkeba who should be counted among Rwandese heroes, accepted to be the leader of UNAR. All the leaders told him that being the leader of UNAR meant nothing else than being killed by Belgians. ‘Let them kill me as UNAR’s leader". Rukeba answered.

It had no leader because it wasn’t straight focused; All the leaders feared.

It’s not a tale, I was there myself. Rukeba stood up and declared himself as the leader of UNAR. Being the leader of UNAR simply meant death. He accepted to die like Rudahigwa and Musinga. Is Rukeba remembered? [How about his acts?] What he did saved life of many Rwandeses; you can’t finish the Rwandan history. Things can turn bad!

00:30:36:15

There at Mwima, after things mast up Rukeba stood up and went straight to Haroi. All Rwandese were in a deep silence. ‘Haroi, you are Belgian, not Rwandese’ he told him ‘How can you mess up our culture? ‘Let us do our own things". Ncongoza translated to Haroi.

‘I am going to jail you’ Haroi told him.’ I am not ready to go to prison, I am ready to die and if you

kill me, all of the people you see here will kill you"

00:31:09:10

It was a serious battle!

Rukeba went on with elections. ‘Rwandese people over here, do you agree with him to bury our king without appointing the one to follow on the throne….they did not even let him finish, they shouted all saying ‘Rukeba’!

Is he remembered! Does anyone know him?

00:31:50:05

Some of the Rwandan history is hidden or overlaid. This is what led to Genocide, to over lay the history. Not to speak the truth. Two sons’ of Rukeba died on war fighting for coming back to Rwanda. Rukeba had left the country with them. They died on war as many of inkotanyi died on war. They were brave like their father.

00;32:24:10

They voted, Haroi looked around and around, ‘I accept, let us appoint the one to follow on the throne.’ He agreed. Haroi said that what they had planned in more than ten years had failed in less than 10 minutes, we had planned to appoint the president but they want the king back. Rukeba won, they shouted of joy.

The one who was in charge of knowing the succession of kings was called Umwiru [king's advisor]. A king never told clearly the one to follow him on throne, he only told the ‘Abiru’. There was a chief of Abiru called Kayumba, son of Rwampugungu who was a chief. Kayumba was to tell the one to follow on throne. Rwandan culture is not a deal of all people; there were specified people for anything.

Even now you have to submit to the authority and let them do what they have to do; all of us want rule or lead. It never happened and it won’t happen.

Kayumba stood up and appointed NDAHINDURWA Jean Baptist to follow him [Rudahigwa] on throne, and the name of the kingship is KIGELI III. They shouted of joy, lifted him up, he was still a small boy; Haroi went as a failure him and his soldiers.

00:33:40:24

They appointed the new king, they then buried Rudahigwa. Kigali casts on the throne but Belgians were still ruling! He [the white] didn’t change, lost at Mwima but you shall see another time.

00;34:10:03

Time came when the war was declared, they misled people into war, those who were on their side, and the battle threw up! The 59 war, that of 60’s, people died, the first Genocide started.

Before, people couldn’t die this much! Why? Because he had lost and he ordered them to kill! You don’t know politics; it can lead you to do what you didn’t want.

Haroi didn’t want people to kill each other, politics is very bad, you can reach the point of doing what you didn’t intend to do. Be attentive once you dive into politics carelessly. Haroi didn’t intend… He intended to reign or rule. He didn’t intend to kill us but politics led him to the point of killing, as he had lost, he had to use the one and only weapon that he remained with; that is the weapon he had

00;35:22:02

He ordered to kill. The Whites brought all their guns, they thrashed over UNAR. Oh, oh, oh, in a terrible way! They jailed all governors, things become worse. They gave out whatever as they wanted as Bwanakweli did, the one who gave to the others, I mean Tutsis, but he is now giving out to malicious [killers]. Guess on what level he was up to then? Before they had no conflicts between them.

People were promised un believable things, killing came after, that’s how it went and UNAR lost.

The tale of Kigeli is very long, how he left Rwanda and HOW he became a refugee. He was also to die, like they killed others. Some ask why he didn’t fight. It’s like telling you to fight with this Government, it can’t happen.

00 :36 :53 :18

Martin: Without interrupting you, can you please tell us in short words after the Governor ordered to kill, how Kigeli fled out and left the country.

00 ;37 :07 :18

Mpyisi They didn’t want……Kigeli’s survival remains a miracle! The whites! You don’t know that history.

The Whites and PARMEHURU members advised Kayibanda, ‘can’t you realize how you look like?’ whether Peraudin, and others.

‘When Kigeli and you are there standing, do you think people would follow you?" This was true! If you were to choose between Kigali and Kayibanda, whom would you follow?

"People will not follow you?" ‘What do I do?" He asked them! ‘Kill him ‘they advised him! Did you

know that?

KAYIBANDA was very wise and bright; he went and told the whole story to his father there at Gitisi to gain advice from him.

00 :38 :17 :23

KAYIBANDA feared, Kigeli would have died, its kayibanda’s father who saved him. Did you know that? The old man told him:" do not do that, if you kill him it’s up to you.’

KAYIBANDA went back and stopped them from killing him. He kept what his father had told him as secret! Instead," find him a way out this country’ he ordered.

00 :38 :49 :10

It was independence time by those days. In fact Kigeli paced up and down [toured] Rwanda, he didn’t reign. He toured up and down the country, he didn’t rule. He helped none, starched no one’s belongings, he just toured his country. Once Rumumba invited him to raise the flag, others had feared because Belgians has ordered to shoot who over would raise the flag. The flag of Congo. Kigeli was invited. Rumumba was his friend and loved him, he went. They told him ‘Belgians will shoot you if you raise the flag". ‘I’ll hoist the flag’ he answered.

00 :39 :38 :21

He went and rose up the Congolese flag, lowered down the Belgian’s flag. Belgians sent a messenger to Kigeli to let him know that he was to die once he’s back to Rwanda. "If you came back, you’ll die and that shouldn’t be counted on us. It’s not us who’ll kill you". We are just informing you as leaders. That’s how Kigeli left his county. And for me he was to die. What happened to his father?

martin: That’s when people started leaving the county.

00 :00 :11 :02

Mpyisi Yes…. many died, others died in different prisons, and things became a mess!! Who was behind all this? Not the Hutu. Belgians were behind all this but used the Hutu.

Hutu didn’t drive out Kigeli; Hutu didn’t drive out Tutsi, No.

Its Peraudin and Belgians. His father [Peraudin's] was still alive by that time, who was he?

They appointed KAYIBANDA in order to use him, he ruled in their place.

00 :00 :48 :05

But the independence that Rudahigwa claimed for was now proclaimed! It was signed from UN! Rudahigwa’s independence!

KAYIBANDA and his people told Belgians ‘lead us more than 400 years but deprive us of Tutsis’." For us we don’t want independence". Just help us cast on the throne and then we let you rule. That’s the deal between him [Kayibanda] Haroi and Peraudin.

00 :01 :32 :14

This was the time to proclaim independence; KAYIBANDA was there on the throne. But, first it was Mbanyumutwa’s sit. UN headquarters stated that they wouldn’t proclaim independence unless those who are outside the country come back and

choose for themselves if they want the king back or vote for Kayibanda.

Those who had stayed in Rwanda refused to vote Kigeli being outside the county. And Kigeli wouldn’t come of course, because he would die. He was in Tanzania.

At the right time he also died for the country [Rwanda]. They passed by Akagera, arrived there, there were soldiers placed by Belgians and Hutus. From where was he going to cross?

They tried to fiddle it: they dressed him in women style and put other clothes on his berry and pretended to play a pregnant woman. They carried him saying they are taking him to kibungo hospital.

"Please help us, we are carrying a pregnant woman who’s about to give birth"they begged the soldiers. They bought them beers and helped them to cross. That’s how Kigeli crossed and came back to Rwanda.

There was a car waiting for him on the other side, that’s how he crossed pretending to be a pregnant woman because there was no other way. It was a suicidal game but as they had refused to vote once he is outside the country, he just had to make it.

When he reached Rwanda, Kigeli stayed in Rukeba’s small house, here in Nyamirambo / Biryogo. That’s where Rukeba had a small house and he had also left his county. He stayed in that small house.

Belgians came to know that he is back and arrested him.

00 :02 :29 :00

"There are no elections’ they told him, yet UN had declared elections. They put him in an helicopter to Bujumbura,

‘We are taking you to Kinshasa where you had gone, you’ll die from there’. They told him. Elections stopped!

And you judge him for not doing this and that. How could he do that? At least he came, knowing that he was going to die.

Is this known? Some take him to be fool. Whoever judges him to be fool, time will came for him to be treated as a fool.

00 :04 :46 :06

He was then going to die! His followers and loved ones came to know, the story reached to Nyerere. Nyerere sent a message to Haroi’ Kigeli is my refugee, if he dies, I will close Tanganyika, you will no longer use Tanganyika for you Goods. (they were independent) and break up with Rwanda’

Haroi talked to his people. "Things have now reached a higher step’ he told them. We can’t kill him. We should have killed him from Kigali. There, at least we could say that a snake bit him. What do we do? That’s how Kigeli got saved. They sent him to Nyerere, that’s how he left Rwanda. He never came back.

Many died, others were jailed and others died outside the country. KAYIBANDA took over the power, him and Peraudin. The world changes, he

ruled over the whole Rwanda.

00:06:20:05

Time came…. let me tell you, this world is bad and wicked! Whom he had appointed to be the chief of general staff is the one who killed him. KAYIBANDA wasn’t knocked down by a Tutsi he was knocked out by a Hutu, his relative. Kigeli also wasn’t knocked down by a Rwandese but the Belgians. Things are different, KAYIBANDA is knocked down by a Hutu, given to him but kigeli was knocked out by Belgians not Rwandese. But it happened to both.

00:07:02:01

Briefly under Kayibanda’s reign, he killed and he saved.

A Tutsi was then in obscurity and neglected. Habyarimana took over; he was master in name only, named the parent of Rwanda. You know how many years he ruled!

That time the capital city of the kingdom was Nyanza, when going to Gitarama and now the capital of Gitarama went back to Nyanza, how can you define this? How did Gitarama shift to Nyanza again? Rwandan history is very educating for one who wants to learn from history. Those who ignore are Rwandese, will always remain faulty and defective.

Time comes and things happen! Some time back, we went to Nyanza for the ceremonies of introduction of the new Governor. Gikongoro was there, Butare was there but no Gitarama, they all went to Nyanza; Nyanza once changed name to Nyabisindu and turned into a bush. But now, check

out, the roads are clean.

00:08:25:19

Do any know where this world is leading us? Just don’t go carelessly only the Bible can give you a clear way. Those who don’t have that book are like dead-alive, me I don’t have the Rwandan history in mind. Without it [the bible], do you think you can manage saying what I say?

00:08:54:03

Habyarimana led up to the extent of being named the parent of Rwanda. This was a period during which the Rwandese living outside the country could come in without any problem.

Politics is dirty game: Habyarimana was loved by all citizens including the Tutsi. But this was a situation in which he implemented what he couldn’t even dream of. Non politicians can think that killing was prepared long ago.

They had only planed to take away their belongings, to make them become poor but not killing. But politics can lead you where you didn’t want to go. Back to Kayibanda. How did he die? Rudahigwa was buried but KAYIBANDA didn’t! Was this known?

HAROI was under buried. Is there any way to visit Kayibanda’s grave? But that of Rudahigwa is visited up to now. Kigeli is in exile but still alive, be careful about the Rwanda History.

00:10:09:18

HAROI died regretting, I have a book he wrote, he regretted and felt guilty about what he wrote. Doing evil is really bad. KAYIBANDA is then finished and his reign; Habyarimana casts on the throne.

The throne drove out from Gitarama. To Bishiru in Bakiga [one of the Rwandan's clans].

This world changes. And the Bible says that all the empires will vanish. The Holy Book revealed that longtime ago. The empire of Nyanza vanished, that of Gitarama vanished and shifted to Bushiru from Bushiru to Kigali, why not from Kigali to Nyanza or Rwamagana. And those will also vanish. Habyarimana ruled.

00:11:09:10

The spies’ time came; those presumed accomplices were Hutus, and their relatives. Have you heard about the death of Mayuya? Who killed him and his relatives?

You don’t know politics; it can lead you to kill your child without that intention. The death of Mayuya!

00:11:38:22

martin Without interrupting you, by that time of Mayuya’s death, you were still in Rwanda

00:11:42:09

Mpyisi We were outside the country but we could know everything. I came back few years ago in 1996.

00:11:52:14

Martin You fled out of the country in 1960?

00:11:56:24

Mpyisi The time of presumed accomplices took an end, Innocent Tutsis died, Habyarimana’s closed Hutu advisers were killed as he had done for those of KayiBanda. He killed his people. Politics is a dirty game. Without that bad intention! People perished and things became worse.

00 :12 :23 :22

Now we are entering the Genocide age, but remember we started from the Germans time,

kingship, we talked about Belgians. Talked about Musinga, Rudahigwa, Kigeli, we talked about Mbonyumutwa, talked about Kayibanda, get the whole succession of them and now we are talking of Habyarimana’s age. For us, we are outside the country.

There is the time that we were really convinced that it won’t be possible for us to come back to Rwanda. But this was God's time!

Genocide occurred, this is from near age but it had started since Rwabugiri’s age, since Germans and Belgians age! Elders use to tell us that Belgians had said that they will reduce Rwanda to aches! The time reached! And he used Rwandese to reduce Rwanda to aches!

00 :13 :37 :03

Genocide occurred and hit, they did evil and atrocities. Drive yourself in bad politics ready for consequences. You can reach where you thought not to reach. Genocide occurred, people perished. This had never happened in the world history because what we hear about Israelites and Germans’ they had no relationship but Hutus and Tutsis were relatives.

You might say that they are not siblings, you are wrong, we are siblings. Why is he a Hutu and me a Tutsi! All is known! Find me, I will tell you the whole logic behind. We are even siblings to whites, changes appeared, they killed to the point that they thought that everything is finished and the time was theirs to rule over everything.

00 :14 :38 :23

Due to the activities that were in Rwanda, the youth that didn’t know Rwanda, its forests, its

provinces with God, decided to came and fight the leader of Rwanda abandoned because of miss respecting taboos. If you don’t respect to taboos God tells you but not forcefully; If you refuse the consequences are there for you. They did evil! Every one that convinced the Hutu to kill had a bad end of life whether the missionary, the Belgians, the end of their life is not good. The Hutu that accepted to kill also had a bad end of life even though they are still alive.

Why can you limit your sight or thinking? Rewind a bit and think about how the king was over thrown, what is he? Think about how KAYIBANDA was over thrown, what is he? Take a look even on the ‘Histoire du monde’ [world history] not only ‘du Rwanda’ [that of Rwanda]. It’s not all about Rwanda.

00 :16 :09 :03

The time came when God directed the youth with their Guns by footing with plastic shoes, Sleeping in the forest, without financial support. How was it possible for them to conquer Rwanda and Habyarimana’s army/helped by the French, plus army from Congo and the Belgians etc….with their modernized guns.

You are in trouble when you do something that makes God not to be on your side. So take care. The group that overcame Habyarimana was nicknamed cockroaches and thought them to have tails.

00 :17 :17 :08

Then a time came when Rwanda became under other people’s control then the question was ‘who took control over it?’ God does not work directly, he works through other people. They fought but

one was let down by God. Beware! Do not be let down by the Lord. Avoid doing something from which terrible consequences might result. Then Rwanda was controlled [by the RPF]. Habyarimana died, he was buried…

00 :17 :58 :02

Those three, Mbonyumutwa was buried in a football field, Peraudin was miss buried, Kayibanda, Habyarimana weren’t buried. Lean a lesson from that history. They are not commemorated in Rwandan History.

So take care in your life time. That is how Genocide took place but check the present Rwanda!! Where are the Hutus?

The Hutu prepared the law that the refuge never get back their property when they are back in the country but they were scared that the Tutsi will come back.

00 :18 :59 :11

There was a time when in their turn had to face the law, they had left the country. They came back and came claiming theirs, yet they are the ones who had prepared placed that law. You have to be full of attention when talking or preparing any law! They left the country but now they are back and we also are back, all of us in Rwanda! Let us praise the lord for what he gave us but we have to learn, not a small lesson, from the Rwandan history. This is just a brief view, maybe we shall come back to this later.

Let us stop here, but this is nothing in the huge history of Rwanda, instead use this to achieve much more.
