The Astrological Ostara South Hem 23/09/16 & Mabon North Hem 22/09/16

Using the below charts of the top being Bellingen NSW Australia and the bottom Seattle Washington USA. The charts show’s clearly the differences energetically between the two locations and why Pagans who attempt to globalise even to some extent a hemisphere Pagan calendar are making a big mistake. And why either going along with a northern hemisphere sabot or seasonal/tradition during an opposing season is also a mistake. Why? it’s not induvialistic to do so is not Symbolic to a practising Pagan this must make sense, to be Pagan is to honour a personal individuality and creativity and to find one’s own natural centre, that allows harmony with ones’ natural surrounds this includes natural astral energy’s that are also seasonal but to a large majority ignored, hence creating confusion or feelings of un easiness about their practice. She is sextile waxing the Sun at 1’59 degree orb in Leo and the Second house so in effect at Ostara we are priming ourselves for something new to enter our world around money/values connected with fun children creativity romance (note the holidays about to begin in this part of world and how for many it may be a mundane effect such as this) that has made clear communication and the Sun is tapping into this energy at Ostara and resetting it for a fresh start around relatives the general community or market, communication, short distance travel etc. So the positive thing to do with this good energy and for it to be effective is, you must engage yourself! don’t hide under ye old rock. Ostara occurs in Libra in the southern Hemisphere not Aries as it would at Ostara in the Northern Hemisphere So where in the Northern Hemisphere we are talking about bold outgoing and individual beginning’s at Ostara in the South it only works if we incorporate a partnership justice equality and fairness. Bold individual ambition will fail in the south at this time. Adding this flavour or tint over the above gives you the final piece of the energetic puzzle for you to piece together or manifest your natural Sabbat.

Mabon occurs on the 22/09/16 7:22am in the Northern Hemisphere So let’s note the differences for the Northern Hemisphere and Seattle, Firstly Mabon is not about Births sex romance fun or planting like Ostara in the South at this time of year. The theme is to prepare for darker colder days to pickle life lol or preserve what you’re doing creating etc am keeping it brief Secondly we are not looking at Ostara Goddess /Asteroid for the Northern folk we will look to Ceres for Mabon for she rules the grain and our last harvest and how we may preserve it. Not just talking about crops so to speak more so anything you harvest or reap unless you farm then it may well be crops Ceres is positioned at 3 deg Taurus in the 8th House making no aspect to the sun however sextile the MC so harvesting or reaping what you sow will be rewarded with effort in an outward and obvious fashion successfully. And there is an underlying occult and spiritual theme to tap into here the other obvious one is that of a legal theme and collecting moneys owed and of judgment as Jupiter on the Ascendant and conjunct the Sun in Libra has a feel of Justice & judgment. Now the main reset of the Sun is occurring still in Libra so you should apply the same individual notes as above to Libra and balance, justice and fairness will be a part of this reset but in Seattle the reset occurs in the 12th House not the third like in Bellingen above. This gives it a totally different flavour the mercury direct motion is important again because it is in fact in the 12th House still like Mercury shares the 3rd in the south however I think it will be slightly more beneficial in the south because of the third houses natural affiliation with mercury its more at home there. The 12th house will give this a more spiritual flavour and new beginnings here are favoured as are dealing with institutions and to a lesser extent the general mind, hidden things and endings etc. The other positive thing is The Seattle chart is a day chart nearly a sunrise so the sun is exalted and more beneficial in this chart than the above Bellingen chart where the Sun is way below the horizon this lessons the effect a little this year.
