Day 1 Play wiggle worm with your child. Using the included materials, put the sticks in a cup or hold them for each other and take turns choosing a stick. Look and see what the letter is and if you can identify it. Put all the letters you get right into one pile. If a stick is chosen that has a wiggle worm on it, everyone has to wiggle saying “wiggle worm, wiggle worm!” Day 2 Use the included Pipe Cleaner and beads to make a pattern. First have your child sort the beads by color. Then have them make a pattern with the beads on the pipe cleaner. It can be any pattern they want as long as it is a pattern. You may have to explain again how a pattern repeats itself. When they are finished they can make a bracelet out of their materials. Day 3 Use the included collage materials/paper/ glue stick to create a collage. Just let your child be creative and make whatever they want out of the materials. Day 4 Allow your child to help you cook dinner by letting them put ingredients in measuring cups and adding to the meal prep, this will help with math skills and measuring. Talk about how measuring cups measure liquids and how we measure items with a ruler and use inches or feet.

Day 1

Play wiggle worm with your child. Using the included materials, put the sticks in a cup or hold them for each other and take turns choosing a stick. Look and see what the letter is and if you can identify it. Put all the letters you get right into one pile. If a stick is chosen that has a wiggle worm on it, everyone has to wiggle saying “wiggle worm, wiggle worm!”

Day 2

Use the included Pipe Cleaner and beads to make a pattern. First have your child sort the beads by color. Then have them make a pattern with the beads on the pipe cleaner. It can be any pattern they want as long as it is a pattern. You may have to explain again how a pattern repeats itself. When they are finished they can make a bracelet out of their materials.

Day 1

Use the included Water Marbles & experiment. Here are the instructions:Fill a bowl or cup with warm water and add the Water Marbles. The more water you add the bigger they get and the faster they will burst. Smaller water marbles bounce more and last longer. You can keep them in a bowl or a sealed bag to keep them hydrated or let them dry out and use them over and over again. Ask your child questions while you are waiting on them. What do you think will happen? How big do you think they will get? Etc.

Day 2Show someone some of the finger plays we do at school (see the attached sheet with the words listed.) Let the adult tell you the words and you show them the motions.

Day 3

Use the included Magic Nuudles to create a 3D Picture. Cut or press Nuudle to desired shape and size, wet a sponge or paper towel that is damp. Lightly tap the Nuudle to the damp sponge or towel and connect wet side to a dry one or to paper. Have fun building! Ask your child to tell you about their picture and write it on the paper. Take a picture and send to me, so their friends can see what they made.

Day 4Work on memory by playing what did you see. Place several items on the table in a row in front of your child for a few seconds. Remove the items and ask your child to tell you in order what items he/she saw.

Day 5

Talk about Rhyming words. Give them a word such as “Dog” and Challenge them to name 1 or 2 things that rhyme with that word. Do several different words. Then switch and let your child be the teacher and give you words. Give them right and wrong answers to see if they can catch it!
