SolBridge International School of Business is located in Daejeon, the “Silicon Valley of Asia” and the
5th biggest city in South Korea. Daejeon is at the Center of the country connecting to major train lines
and expressways. It takes one hour to Seoul and one and half hour to Busan by KTX express bullet
train. At Daejeon, high-tech, culture and nature are blended at their best. Students have a perfect place
to study along with other international fellow students and immerse themselves in the Korean culture.
South Korea has its place in the world with a strong economy and cultural images. It is best known
for technological advances such as mobile phone, semiconductors, memory chips, automobile parts,
shipbuilding, steel refinement, construction, petrochemicals and satellite communications
(multinational companies such as Samsung, Hyundai, LG, Lotte, Posco are the most well-known in
Vietnam and worldwide) and last but not least its Hallyu (Korean Wave) movement. Korea is the biggest
investor in Vietnam, creating tremendous job opportunities for Vietnamese students.
