Assuming that you haven’t used this tool before, go straight to “Login Help.” Enter your email using the period NOT the underscore . Wait for the link to be emailed to set your password. The loginID is your badge (this

is your 6digit Dell badge ID#, 5digit or less for older folks) and your new password. After your successful login, click Add New Application on the left side.

Step 1: Add Program Information:a. Click on Edit under Education Information section.

b. Select Program: Tuition Reimbursement Programc. Search on Dale Carnegie and ensure you choose a state of Missouri.

Without the state, lots of Dale Carnegie offices show up, while the one from Saint Charles is the only one in Missouri and is the correct one. Then select this option.

d. Select Provider: Dale Carnegie and Associates Inc (Saint Charles, MO)e. Select Next after confirming that you have the correct Education

Information (Provider Code: T80399; 2240 Bluestone Drive, Saint Charles, MO 63303)

f. Change the Student ID to 1 of the options in the drop down….unknown at this time.

Step 2: Add Course Informationa. Education Program: Individual Coursesb. Field of Study: Organizational Leadership. Can also put Business,

General Studies, etc.c. Insert the Course Start Date: Enter your program dates. d. Insert the Course End Date Enter your program dates. If the end date

is 2019, the calendar will default to 2018, so make sure you choose the date and change the year.

e. Are you graduating this term: No

Under the Course Information Section, click on “Add Course”a. Enter the Course#: (Scroll to final page for your course name and #)b. Enter the Course Name: Enter your Program Name (see below)c. Tuition Amount: $1,670.00d. Credit Hours: leave this blanke. Delivery Method: Classroom

TAX QUESTIONS: EdAssist may ask you several tax questions. Answers will vary depending on your individual situation. (Please note that we are not permitted to advise you on the answers to these tax-related questions).

Under the Expense Information Section, there are no additional expenses so there is nothing to submit.

Once Step 2 is complete, click “Next”

Step 3: AgreementsUnder the Grants click “None” for the Question Grant/Scholarships received.

Check the box to all the other items and then type your name, then “Next” then submit.

Step 4 Review and SubmitPlease make sure to Click on “Submit” at the bottom of the screen

You will be emailed a confirmation after selecting the “Submit” button. If you don’t get that immediately, you can check the dashboard and it will show submitted under application status.

Once it gets approved, it should go to your manager. You’ll be copied on an email to your manager, asking them to approve it. Your manager can use the link provided on the email and use their badge as login. please ask them to use first.lastname@dell.com. Underscore doesn’t work.

Once this is complete, you will receive an auto response email from EdAssist indicating approval to attend the course. Turnaround time could be as short as 1-2 days.

Return to step 5, after graduating from the program. You’ll receive transcript and receipt from DC&A. For docs to upload, preferred formats are pdf, tif and jpg.

Step 5 Graduate & Submit Docs

Log-in and on the home screen My Learning Center, click on: “My Dashboard”

You’ll then see…

a. Click on the application # to upload/submit your documents

b. Click on “Submit Documents”

c. Then input the following: a. Document Type: Gradesb. Upload your transcriptc. Comments: e.g. below.d. Input Grade: select P (pass)

d. Please make sure to Click on “Submit” at the bottom of the screen

Repeat b, c & d for uploading Proof of Payment. Can submit 1 document at a time.

Once the supporting documents have been reviewed and approved, the funds will be released to Dell Payroll. FYI. Sometimes it could take up to 2 pay cycles, so check your internal pay information for updates.
