Invitation to the 14 th Asian Association for Sport Management (AASM) Conference, August 2 to 4, 2018 at the De La Salle University Greetings! The Sport Management Council of the Philippines (SportPhil), under the auspices of the Asian Association for Sport Management (AASM) and in partnership with the De La Salle University Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business (DLSU RVR- COB) are proud to host the 14 th AASM Conference with the theme “Discovering and Developing the Sport Industry Potential in Asia” this August 2 to 4, 2018 at the De La Salle University, Taft Campus. The main objective of the conference is to underscore the synergy between sport development and sport industry by providing viable models in sport management, athletic programs and PE pedagogy. The conference is CHED-endorsed and has DEPED advisories which are downloadable using the links we attached below. The general program flow is as follows: Day 1: Job fair, mini-booths & industry talks from local personalities and experts Sport Coaching, Fitness, Media, Marketing, athletic programming etc. Day 2: International Keynote speakers and Panel Discussions, Poster Presentations DAY 3: Workshops in PE and Sports Pedagogy, Oral Presentation The conference will have various lecture workshops which include: Teaching Sports, Good Practices in School Athletic Programming, Athlete Performance Monitoring and Analysis, Inclusive Sports for Special Groups, Fundraising for Athletes etc. There will also be a call for research abstracts and posters for relevant topics. The conference is expected to gather over 600 delegates from here and abroad, which includes sport
