This map suggests an alternative route for the Exodus from Egypt. The traditional location of Mt Sinai is called “Mt Musa—St Catherine’s monastery. Red Sea crossing is north, near the land of Goshen. This map, however, suggests that the crossing of the Red Sea occurred on the southern tip of the peninsula, across the gulf of Aquaba, which is also the Red Sea. This means that the location of the land of Midian is in Saudi Arabia, and Mt Sinai/Horeb is also in present day Arabia, not in Egypt—Sinai Peninsula
