Industrial Patterning - Yellow and black edging to the page – similar to police / danger tape making the magazine seem ‘dangerous’, causing the reader to feel as though they are rebelling by reading this magazine.

Black background with white writing – makes the text stand out more.Message from the editor of the magazine – black symbolises power.

Date and issue number of magazine – helps the reader to know which issue they are viewing
