Elements of Photography: Line, Shape/Form, Space, Value, Texture, Colour Principles of Photography: Emphasis, Balance, Unity/Harmony, Contrast, Movement& Rhythm, Pattern/RepetitionRequirements of the Project
☼ Go online and find six examples of photographs that you think do a good job of showing the elements and principles of design.
☼ Each image that you select will focus on a combination of one element and one principle of design. For example: Line (element) and Pattern/Repetition (principle).
☼ Once used for a photograph, an element and principle cannot be the center of interest in another photo. For example: If line and unity are used as the center of interest for a photo, they cannot be the focus of any other photo in the assignment.
☼ Label photographs with the element and then the principle. Examples:
