The 9 Core Competencies : Technology Technology is constantly surrounding you whether it is

your phone in your hand, social media to keep up with friends, or the program used to finish a class project. This necessary tool is helpful in our everyday life. Have you recently thought about it in terms of gaining a job? Did you know you could be hired based of your knowledge in technology? Make sure to highlight your skills in this area in your resume or interviews. If you need some extra practice in this area, reach out to CCIT and test your talents. Be sure you know the skills required in your field, so that you are the best candidate when job searching. Student Spotlight

Tiffany Grooms, a senior Psychology major, interns for the Career Development team in the Michelin Career Center and the Aspire Program for Healthy Campus. She has been such an asset to our team in CCPD by creating resources for the center as well as helping students whenever she can. Tiffany displays her passion of helping students through her appointment blocks, email critiques, and helpful tips for students (Adulting Tip sheet). We are so thankful for her dedication to our office through her busy schedule like running for Homecoming Queen and all her other involvement. Tiffany will be with us for another term in the spring.
