Maths – Summer 2 Week 7 commencing 13/07/20

This week is slightly different as we have finished the Summer Home edition of the Power maths books!

So we will be using the Textbook C’s instead, for three days. Thursday is an online maths challenge and Friday is the usual Fun maths Friday

Scroll down and accept the terms and conditions then select: Power Maths then ‘Text book C’. The page numbers you need are below. Or you can view the actual pages at the bottom of this document. As always, read the ‘Discover and share’ page first, then complete the second ‘Think Together’ page

Here is an on-line maths challenge to try. You’ll be given your score and an explanation of your errors at the end. Feel free to complete with someone else if it gets tricky!

Fun maths Friday:

Our last fun maths Friday session and it’s over to you! I would like you to come up with your own fun/////hands-on way of teaching a mathematical concept. It could be based on a session we’ve already covered but adapted in some way or it could be something completely new. It could be based on a board game concept or a type of challenge. I can’t wait to see what you come up with and I hope to use some of your ideas in school!
