Clark County Fishing Report: Antelope: Fishermen continue to catch a few walleye and northern pike from the boat and from shore. Bailey’s Lake: Fishermen are catching small bluegill and perch, with an occasional nice walleye. Reid/Round Lake: Fishermen continue to catch a few walleye and northern pike from shore and by boat. Carson Slough: Fishermen are catching northern pike from shore. Codington County Fishing Report: Kampeska: Producing a few fish when weather cooperates. North end has been the most productive. White Bass and walleye have been the best Long: Shore fishing has been good. Most are using jig and minnow or swim baits. Many are over 20 inches. Pelican: Fishermen are picking up a few walleye in the evenings. Hunting Report: Turkey: Turkey hunting has been getting better, but this week’s weather will make hunting difficult. Day County Fishing Report: Bitter/Waubay: Boat traffic increased this past week significantly with the nice weather. Anglers reported some success catching walleye and white bass in shallow water. Rush/Blue Dog Lake: Shore fishing remains decent along Hwy 12 with anglers catching some northern pike, walleye and white bass. Enemy Swim: Anglers are catching a few bluegill and crappie. Hunting Report: Turkey: With the nice weather this past weekend, hunters were out in full force with many having luck harvesting a bird. Clark County Fishing Report:

Hamlin County Fishing Report: Poinsett: A few walleye, crappie, perch, and white bass have been caught, especially in the evenings near Stone Bridge and the Sarranen Lake Access Area. Anglers fishing in boats had mix reports; catch rates are high on walleye under 15 inches. Anglers are reminded that there is a 15 inch minimum on walleye. Lake Albert: A few anglers tried the lake this past week with mix success. The bite has slowed down, but the anglers reported catching quality walleye.

Clear Lake: Anglers are catching a few northern pike along with the occasional walleye.Buffalo: Some decent reports of walleye, northern pike and panfish being caught. Shore fishing in the evenings has been the best opportunity. Roy: Anglers have been catching northern pike and walleye from shore and boat.Opitz: Anglers are catching walleye along the grade in the evenings.  Anglers fishing from boats are catching walleye around the timbered main lake points.

Hunting Report: Turkey: The turkeys have been very vocal on mornings with warm temperatures. The hunters putting in time and scouting seem to be having success. Be sure to obtain permission before entering private property.
