Weekly report On the Israeli Flagrant Violations

In the occupied Palestine

(14-20 March 2018)

Outline: Tow martyrs in West Bank & Gaza Strip. 3 demolitions in West Bank, two of them were self demolitions. Revoking the ID of 12 Palestinian Jerusalemites. Colonizers’ attacks on 8 Palestinian students in Um Tuba

village/Hebron. Colonial organization calls for the evacuation of 3 Bedouin

communities in Hebron. The structural plan no. (14/115) of the so called “Alfe Manisha”

colony is in effect. 30 Olive trees were uprooted in Jaba'a villages in Bethlehem.

Summary:Israeli forces continue their systematic crimes in the West Bank during the

reporting period (14-20 March2018). The Department of Documentation and

Publications in the CWRC monitored new set of Israeli violations on the

Palestinians, their lands and holy places, resulted in the martyrdom of Abdel

Rahman Bani Fadel, 28 years old, from Aqraba village/Nablus, and Ismail

The Israeli violations distributed as follows:

Jerusalem Governorate:

Jerusalem Governorate witnessed several attacks during the past week. The

most brutal attack was the Israeli Knesset resolution to revoke the residency

of Palestinian Jerusalemites. The Knesset approved the resolution in the

final reading, and it includes 12 Jerusalemites who are considered to be

involved in “terrorist” activities against Israel. On the other hand, the Israeli

authority demolished 3 houses in Jerusalem, two of which were demolished

by the Jerusalemites themselves. The latter two houses belong to the citizens

Faisal Joma’a from Jabal al Mukaber and Ishaq Shwiki from Silwan. They

did so to their houses to avoid being demolished by Israeli bulldozers as well

as to avoid paying the demolition costs to the occupation authority.

Moreover, the Israeli bulldozers demolished a barracks belongs to Salam

Abu Tarbush in the old city.

Meanwhile, the colonizers drew racist graffiti on the walls of Asker family and punctured the tires of 3 Palestinian vehicles near Besgat Ze’ev.

Hebron Governorate:

The “Rivagim” colonial association submits a petition for the Israeli High Court, requesting evacuating 3 Palestinian Bedouin communities south of Hebron, under the pretext of being illegal and established without permits. They refuse the establishment of a Palestinian city in that area claiming that it will affect the future of settlement construction. The association handed a copy of the petition to the residents of a number of Kherab east of Yatta south Hebron.

A group of colonizers of “Maa’on” colony attacked 8 children from Tuana Secondary School in Tuba area, The children who were assaulted are the following: - Reem Ali Awad, Kifah Abu Junaidah, Hamza Abu Junaidah,

Ibrahim Rashed Awad, and Sanawat and Jabr Awad, Inshrah Abu Junaidah, Shaimaa Awad and Izz Eddin Makhmara.

Also, a colonizer from “Havat Moraih” colony attacked a group of sheep by his predator dog resulted in their death.

Nablus Governorate:The colonizers bulldozers razed new areas in the surroundings of “Shavuot Rahil” colony on the land of Jalud village, also, hundreds of colonizers storm into the archeological area of Sabstia town, and closed the road between Ramallah and Nablus in Hawara village, and moreover the IOF assaulted the farmers of Al-Sawia village and arrested 4 foreign activists.

Bethlehem Governorate:A group of colonizers from “Beit Ein” colony uprooted 30 olive trees in “Wadi Abu Zalt” area east of Jaba’a west of Bethlehem, belonging to Mohammad Ali Hamdan.

Qalqiliya Governorate:The subcommittee of colonial settlement infects a detailed structural plan number (14\115) of “Alfe Manisha” colony on the lands of Azzun village aiming to build new residential units and commercial markets on 80 dunums\Acres.

Ramallah Governorate:Arim colonial company announce tender number (2018\1701) to develop and build a road for the colonies of Beit Arieh and Ofarim on the lands of

Abod, Luban Al-Garbia and Rantis villages west of Ramallah, also, the colonizers of “Adi Ad” attacked the farmers of Turmusayia village.

Salfit Governorate:The Israeli occupation authorities notified Mohammed Mustafa Salameh from the village of Haris to remove an agricultural nursery in the Khalit Hamed area in the village.

Tubas Governorate:The occupation authorities demolished tents for the family of Bisharat in Khirbet al-Hadidiya.
