Graphic Design Projects/work assignments Interns will assist the Graphic Design Department with any needs they may have, ranging from designing small projects to assisting with production. Scale of projects will vary based on interest and skill level. Interns will also be able to attend various meetings to gain an understanding of the internal process at the museum. Skills and qualifications required including technology skills Currently enrolled in a BFA or MFA design program, working knowledge of Adobe design suite, and strong typographic foundation. Type of training to be provided Interns in the Graphic Design Department will be provided with hands-on experience working within the Whitney’s identity system for a variety of internal clients. Outcomes The internship will demonstrate how an award-winning in-house design team functions, both creatively and operationally. Some ideal outcomes would be: working knowledge of being part of an in-house team, an understanding our graphic identity and how it exists within the museum, and some projects for use within a portfolio.

Projects/work assignments Interns will assist the Graphic Design Department with any needs they may have,
