Person Specification – Team Leader for Take Home & Settle Service and Healthy Living Clubs

Essential Criteria

Experience

A minimum of 2 years active and successful experience of managing and leading a staff team, ideally in a health/ social care setting

Demonstrable experience of contract reporting

Demonstrable experience of working with and supporting volunteers

Demonstrable experience of successful project management, including planning, monitoring and evaluation

Demonstrable experience of constructive partnership working with voluntary, statutory and community organisations

Skills and knowledge

Knowledge and understanding of issues which can impact on the health and wellbeing of older people

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including the ability to write clear reports, give presentations and communicate sensitively with people at all levels)

Excellent IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and databases

Ability to collect data efficiently and undertake statistical analysis

Ability to monitor performance and interpret financial information

Excellent demonstrable administrative and organisational skills

Understanding of the principles of equality and diversity

Full driving licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel throughout East Sussex (for which mileage will be paid)
