I am very excited to be writing to you today, regarding possible work experience you may to offer on the new Star Wars 8, down at Leavesden Studios.

I have been researching your studio space and what you are producing and I’m blown away by the scale and quality. I believe I could gain an enormous amount of experience if I worked with your experienced team at Leavesden. This would benefit my future greatly on more than just a personal skills level.

I am currently studying as a 2nd year mature student at Northbrook In Props and SFX; I hope to gain a BaHons next year. Previously I have gained a Diploma in Art, Design & Media, and for or past 2 years I have worked on a commission basis, completing many smaller projects from home such as Mural paintings to events and party’s.

I am conscientious about updating my portfolio regularly, and do so by having a constant stream of work coming in, so I can enjoy the variety of daily life as a prop maker has to offer and the over all outcome of each project. Aiming to work as a freelance prop maker & Scenic Artist once I completed University.
