Format of my website.

Homepage:

On my homepage I wanted to keep the layout quite simple. Therefore I decided that I would only have one image that kept with the colour scheme of my website. I also wanted to keep the text on the homepage to a minimum so that I do not lose the interest of the possible clients.

As a customer that goes on to shopping website I know that being bombarded by a lot of pictures and text as it is off putting and people are more likely to click off the site and find a different one.

Shop:

With my shop page I felt it necessary to make the picture the more prominent feature as clients can then choose which they prefer. I also wanted to limit the amount of products I had per page.

Recipes:

On my recipes page I decided that again I would keep the layout simple so that it is not overloaded with information. Therefore I made links to each recipe to open on a new page so that the recipes did not get mixed up if there were all on one page.

Once clicked on the actual chosen recipe again I have kept to a simple layout with the ingredients at the top left and preparation time on the right then beneath I have numbered each step in the recipe so that it is quick and easy to follow for all ages.

Order Form:

The order form is just a simple form showing possible customers what they will receive with their delivers. They can use this form for future purposes or just to send back feedback.

Shopping Cart:

The shopping cart is fully functioning, once you have picked your chosen product. It will go straight to the shopping cart where you can change the quantity of the product and choose your method of payment. Again the layout is very simple and not hard to use.
