Block scheduling and daily tutoring time ensures that every student can succeed. There should be NO reason that you as a student cannot get your class work and homework finished in the time allotted. If you are having trouble, you need to speak up and request help from the teacher of the subject in which you are having problems. Class time for homework and the time allotted for tutoring should be used for exactly that, studying.

Late work: refers to assignments that students were present to receive, and did not complete on the due date.

High School Students may turn in late work, not turned in during that week (Tues – Mon), through the end of the school day on Tuesday @ 3:30pm. This work will be accepted for up to half credit. At the end of each Tuesday school day, any missing work for the previous week will receive a zero.

If they attend tutoring in this subject, they will only be deducted 25% of their overall score. (75% credit)

If a student is absent on the due date, the assignment is due the next day the student is present for class.

Absent Work: refers to new assignments given during an excused absent. Students are accountable for locating absent work and turning in the assignments within 1 week. If the work is not turned in after 1 week, it becomes late work.
