OCTOBER FOOD DRIVEDon’t forget that we are having a food drive throughout the month of October. All donations will go to the Christian cupboard. Boxes are located all around the church campus.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXESTODAY THROUGH NOVEMBER 4

Boxes along with filling instructions are available for pick up today and will be available through November 4th in the church foyer. Please stop by, pick up a box and instructions. Fill it and return it no later than November 11th along with a check for $9 to help pay for shipping and delivery. Pray that God’s blessing would touch lives through this ministry as we share His love with the children of the world.

HIGH SCHOOL SNACTONIGHT

Students, 9th – 12th grade, who wish to participate in this fellowship must be present at the 6:00 PM evening worship tonight. Tonight, we’ll have a bonfire and hot dogs out at the Coley’s house.

Students 1st – 5th grade: are you ready for some fun? Join us here in the Ark of the Kid’s building next Sunday for our first annual Fall-O-Ween Jesus event. There will be games, pictures and candy!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ACTIVITES ON OCTOBER 31There will not be any Wednesday night activities at church on Wednesday, October 31. We will have "Halloween" tracts available in the church foyer next Sunday, the 28th, for you pick up to give out along with candy that night.

WEDNESDAY EVENING FAMILY MEALSNOVEMBER 7 FELLOWSHIP HALL

This November we are be bringing back the Wednesday evening family meals. The cost per plate is $5, with a $15 cap on families of 4 or more (pay for 3 plates, the rest are free). The fellowship hall will be opened at 4:00 PM, with food service beginning at 4:30 PM and ending at 6:00 PM. Please stop by the church foyer counter (or the church office during the week) for a look at the evening’s menu and to sign up. Payment is due upon signup. Everyone is invited – not just those who are involved in a Wednesday activity already.

EVANGELISM TRAININGThis fall, we are offering an evangelism class, taught by Lance Birdsong, to all who are interested. The training would consist of two 30 minute classes of learning how to share our faith & testimony, according to scripture, and the following meetings would be practical application out in the community. If you would be interested in learning more about sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to those right here in Seguin, please fill out the yellow Next Steps card in the pew and place it in the offering plate. Start date, time and location for training are dependent upon the interest in the class and will be announced at a later date.
