High Frequency Word List: High frequency words are quite simply those words which occur most frequently in written material, for example, "and", "the", "as" and "it". Some of the high frequency words can be sounded out using basic phonic rules, e.g. "it". However, many of the high frequency words can are not be sounded out, therefore you have to learn them by sight. This week we are sending home a list of high frequency words. Gradually help your child become familiar with these words throughout the Reception year.  You will find this list in your child’s book bag.

Donations: We are collecting tangerine nets and junk model for our creative area, any donations will be appreciated.

Best wishes The Reception Team
