Comparative
Formula = Noun(subject) + verb + adjective + than + object. Tom +is + taller +than + Sam.
3 Rules of Comparative Adjectives1. One syllable
Tall (comparative) = tallerTom is taller than Sam.
2. Two syllables with “y”Heavy (comparative) = heavierTom is heavier than Sam.
3. 2 or more syllablesHumble (comparative) = more humbleTom is more humble than Sam.
