ELA: We will continue to read the Gingerbread Stories. This week, we will read the stories The Ginger Bear and the Gingerbread Girl Goes Animal Crackers. We will continue to make comparisons. The

students will form an opinion and write about their favorite Gingerbread story. Our reading strategy will be Pattern Power!We will finish up our letters with q and z. Our sight word this week will be is.

Sharing: Please bring in something that starts with your favorite letter! Be prepared to tell us that letter! (1 object!) Math: We will learn about subtraction and practice fluency when adding and subtracting. Social Studies: We will review and assess this unit. Science: We will read the story Time to Sleep and discuss hibernation. Gingerbread Houses: I will be asking each family to donate an item for our gingerbread houses. I will send them out next Tuesday. I would like to have 1 parent/child.
