Brief description (main outputs, conclusions, relation to other WPs)

In preliminary consultations with the host of the event (Zemplen Regional Enterprise Agency) it revealed that in spite local stakeholders are working on the field on energy, they have no sufficient knowledge about the energy transition. Therefore the framework was determined by the different aspect of the energy transition. In line with this, the first presentation was about the actuality of the energy transition, where the relevant EU legislation (mainly the Winter Package) was discussed. This interactive session created a common understanding about the energy transition among the stakeholders, which created the possibility to present them the importance of regional and local energy planning, especially creating vision and roadmapping. The second half of the training was more practical: the first presentation highlighted the different kind of funding opportunities; the second one explained the policy to implementation process through specific examples. As a priority of the event, the speakers intended to involve actively the audience. From the received feedback the training reached its goals, the local stakeholders had a clear view on the topic by the end of this fruitful day.
