Come prepared with a pencil, paper, a charged computer and any homework that may need to be done completed. Be a respectful citizen by following classroom rules and procedures. Be willing to participate in group work without complaint and showing a respectful positive attitude. Develop a love of our World's rich history and use the knowledge to make informed decisions in our society. Honors Expectations This is an honors course. Course material will be deeper and at a higher Students in honors classes must maintain an B or better to continue enrollment in the course. Students will be graded on a four- point scale. This will be uniform across the Social Studies department. The following shows what is expected to attain anywhere from 0 to 4 points. 4-Understands information and shows ability to apply and re-teach information. 3-Clearly understands information and can explain information to another person. 2-Understands information with some help. 1-Partial understanding or does not understand information. 0- Did not do assignment. Honors Expectations

This is an honors course. Course material will be deeper and at a higher depth of knowledge (extended thinking) than the regular course work. I plan on doing most of the course work during class. Honors to me does not mean more work, it means digging deeper into the course materials and

The maximum credit for these assignments is 90%
