Work Procedures & Control Measures

1. make sure you are wearing the appropriate PPE before going onTo the factory floor safety boots, safety glasses & hearing protection must be worn at all times.no baggy clothing or gloves are to be Worn whilst operating this machine

2. make sure the working area is clean & tidy, & thatthere is no waste material on the floor

3. check the condition of all the start stop buttons & makesure the guards are present & in good condition

4. make sure there is the correct size chuck key with the drill. When changing the drill make sure the drill is switched off before doing so.

5. depending on what you are drilling always try to set Up the fence and use the stops located on the fence.Use G clamps to hold the fence to the drill bed these should be located on the table at the side of the pillar Drill. If you are drilling something small or oddly shapedDon’t try to drill to many at a time keep them as singlesAnd hold them down properly.

6. Make sure you leave the working area clean & tidy Put all drill bits & chuck key back on the table or The magnetic holder.
