Today we manipulated audio files that we recorded in another week’s lesson, we recorded a zombie sound and we imported the file into audacity to make it sound more realistic, clearer and overall scarier. We turned up the base and treble by 9 and made it sound a lot deeper. Also we added an echo with a delay of 5 at the very end of the sound so it had a bit more of an effect on the gameplay. Overall Audacity was good software for quick editing and it did the job. However I think Adobe Audition is better software because I found that there were more effects and personally I thought the audio itself was a lot clearer in audition. So we know how to use both software’s comfortably but at the moment we are still undecided on which software we will choose.
