KR, Sofia Sebastian Introduction: Provision of a KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL serving the residents of any community is the most important facility for the growth of the community. Project: As the part of the ARCH201: Architectural Design II, the students are required to design a Kindergarten school Center with the given requirements in the proposed site at Haya-A-Turat near Nizwa. Objective of the kindergarten Provide an environment arranged in learning centers or learning areas (e.g., art center, science center, reading center, dramatic play center, block center). This arrangement allows for a wide range of developmental interests and abilities within the same classroom. Play areas are also integral factors for the developmental growth of a child as they learn about the world around them. Provision of a KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL serving the residents of any community is the most important facility for the growth of the community.

Project:As the part of the ARCH201: Architectural Design II, the students are required to design a

Kindergarten school Center with the given requirements in the proposed site at Haya-A-Turat near Nizwa.

Objective of the kindergarten Provide an environment arranged in learning centers or learning areas (e.g., art center, science center, reading center, dramatic play center, block center). The Study & Research of similar projects has to be done as a group work, and to be submitted in the form of a Study Report in A3 format. The same also has to be explained by the students in the form of Presentation to Internal / external Jury.

Each student has to work independently for the new design project in stages with regular consultations with the faculty.

Every stage of design to be progressed only based on the consultation and approval of the faculty such as: Site Analysis, Concept & its development, Layout & Site Plan, All floor plans, Sections, Elevations and details of amenities & services etc., as per the requirements details given above:
