The most common question short-termers hear upon return is, “How was your trip?” People will have varying degrees of interest, so one way to prepare is to have answers of varying lengths.

The Sound-bite Approach: Write a 15 second response.

The Invited Approach: Write and outline for a twenty-minute talk.
