We would like to welcome everyone back to Carrickleck NS for the new school year. New Teacher: A very warm welcome to Mrs Áine Mc Eneaney to our school. Mrs. Mc Eneaney will be covering Ms. Breda Fitzpatrick’s career break. SNA Post: We would like to welcome Mrs. Edel Mc Carthy to our senior room as our SNA for the coming year. Junior infants : We would like to welcome Evie Greene and Fionn Parge into Junior Infants. Congratulations on you first week of school. Anglo Celt : will be coming to the school on Thursday 12 th September at 11.15 am to take photographs of the Junior Infants. First Holy Communion : The pupils of 2 nd class will receive the sacrament of Holy Communion on Saturday the 2nd of May at 11 am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Kingscourt. Confirmation Day: The pupils of 6 th class will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday 10th May at 3pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt. Uniform : Can you please ensure full uniform is labelled. Time for drop of children: Children will be supervised on the school premises from 9.10 am. Clothing Collection: We do intend to have a clothes collection on Friday 8 th November 2109. If you could please donate your unwanted clothes & textiles to raise funds for the school before 9.30am on Friday morning. All items must be in a reusable condition, NO Duvets or Pillows. Towels, Bed linen, Paired shoes, Handbags, Belts and Curtains are all acceptable. Dates for the Diary: 1. School closes for mid-term from Monday 28 th October 2019 to Friday 1 st November 2019. 2. Parent-Teacher meetings on Wednesday 13 th and Thursday 14 th November.
